How does everyone feel about splinter cells?

I dont really want to join a 'clan' or outfit, id much rather just find out what needs doing when im on and sneak in on my own or with a friend, much more fun for me. Just wondering how everyone felt on that (search didnt do much for me)

I think that MAY be effective, but why not just do it for an outfit? It's the same thing that you are describing? You could ask your leader what he nedds you to do and go do it just like you described.

I believe most people will have an outfit, I'm sure there will be a few that will try and be independent...but will realize it will be better to be with an outfit, many pluses!!

I could see a similar scenario to what you see in WWIIOL, where members of clans and veterans try to avoid noobs and people that fly solo because they are afraid they are "traitors." That would be easy to avoid, if they don't allow players to change empires, as is being discussed. Still, it's in your best interest to join a squad if you plan on being a server regular.

When a community as large as Planetside is created, without a squad, you would rarely see the same people every day.
