Hell yes. I have changed my hamma-esque rpg hating ways. I cant wait. I'll be playing with the 1st Fist of Light. This guild will totally dominate this game. I'm going to be a Night Elf Druid, or maybe a Human Paladin.

I was. But now I don't really care. WoW seems be less and less like my type of game. Im not digging the whole hack and slash computer AI monsters. Perhaps i've just been ruined by playing a month of SWG. Because of that game I hate MMORPGs.

WoW isn't going to die, there's too much of a fanbase going and while it's launch probably won't be all that good going by Blizzard's track record, it'll probably get fixed fast, again boing by Blizzard's track record.

EQ 2 may not die, it depends on what incentives there are for EQ 1 players to pick it up (and if you get the station pass you get EQ 1, PS and EQ 2 for $20 which is a very attractive offer)

Linage 2 won't be dieing either. Possibly in the US, but there are simply too many people in Asia with broadband :lol:

not sure what I can say but Lineage II will never be sucsessful over here. I mean I try to like it I really do. It has some good qualities but in the end I feel it just falls way to short of what I expect in a MMORPG, even for asians.... :)

1) Blizzard didn't rush the launch of Wow
2) Blizzard has enough money and willing testers to launch a good product
3) Blizzard has a history of amazingly popular video games
4) MMORPG players are known for being very forgiving, loyal people
5) Warcraft rocked.

Once we eliminate the all the possibilities of this game sucking, what we are left with must be true. To wit: WoW will kick major ass.
