Well, I finally got a nice large chunk of time to play WoW, and man am I impressed. This game is so much better than Everquest ever was or dreams to be. It is the best game I have ever played.

i plan on playin WoW. i am in a guild with some old PS peeps i know. it looks good and i have never played a mmorpg or an RPG really.

they're taking way to damn long, if its not out by the end of this year I'm gonna say fuck it if I find some other MMO I'm interested in. It looks awsome but this what the 7th month of beta testing?

Graphics, PvP, and skill selection all look weak. It looks like another EQ or AO where every fucking charachter of a certain class has the same damn skills.

Hopefully EQ2 will give you some versatitility in charachter building. Otherwise i'll skip that one too and focus on T:V, Doom3, and Sims 2.

The graphics arent in WoW yet, the things are not even customizeable, and the water is a placeholder. The graphics are in an early stage, so dont judge them. The PvP atm is a placeholder-like thing too. It'll change to be a differnt kind.

Yeah well, that's what the fanboys of AC2 said. All the broken, missing features were "placeholders".

If designers can't even get the BASIC fundamentals of a MMORPG into their release, then screw them.

The game is only in beta. They still have till the end of 2004 to get all the stuff in

the only thing i'm really concerned about is: Will there be big gigundor battles?

i want to be able to hop online, jump into WoW, and hop on my wyvern and go zipping into some ENORMOUS orc vs. human battle and just slug it out with tons of guys over some Keep or Stronghold or something.

I have been following this game for a long time (basicly when they started talking about it) and i looks all good but i dont like the looks of the PvP i want to get in some massive fights where the fighting keeps changeing a little like PS the players learn and so the game changes a bit makes it harder. But from what i have herd of WOW it will be a arena thing where the computer maches you with a person your level hopefully there will be some big fight like at lest 50 on 50 would be good even though the more the better.

as for how the water looks, my water detail level is set all the way low. I didn't realize it.

I dont understand how they CANT have massive orc v human battles in this game.. its what warcraft was all about. Im sure blizzard is smart enough to see that

Stry, the water detail isnt in yet. Theres only one water level, detail level, ect. The sliders dont work :)

im not gonna post the reasons why this game will be great simply because a few of the people that said they dont think the game will be anything special I dont like, and dont WANT to have them play this game.

hey stry, I tried to play yesterday but it said I need the newer version. do you have to DL a whole different client or just a patch.

Has Blizzard ever screwed up a game? It seems like they can do the strategy and RPG genre pretty well and now they are expanding into MMORPG, and TPS (uh Starcraft Ghost). I can't wait till this game comes out because I know it will be probably the best MMORPG I've ever played plus it looks cool right now and the beta testers are giving thumbs up.

Guys the grafics arent at full. The devs said they are going to release better looking models and re-work water. Also instanced pvp isnt up yet. Unless thats on the pvp server. Besides I like how its a quest driven game. Not a monster grind like most other mmorpg's. To the person who stated that they wanted to be able to "jump" into massive pvp battles. PS barely does that. Dont ask that of a rpg.

jet, you must delete WoW on your computer. Then, go to the WoW website and redownload the whole thing. yeah, the whole thing. I hate it when they do patches like that ;)
