i think i'm the one holding things up here, i'm supposed to be drawing for the release but i keep getting interrupted by hurricanes

Ah yes, them pesty things of nature that will knock your house down like it was made of cards. You guys in Florida are having a really bad year for hurricanes, just hope Frances lessen in strength cause last time I saw the weather channel thing on it (My Dad watch's that alot) its winds clocked at 140mph which if it continues that it will beat out Charley for that worst one yet this year..

Mars ran into an issue last night with the video and it set him back a bit.

Hi folks - apologies on the delay.

First - As someone mentioned, the only thing being taken out is just that - stupid stuff such as noise, bad camera shots, etc... We're going to show you the whole thing just as it happened.

Now as for the video, what's being added is better sound where needed, perspective from 2 different cameras (we have 2 complete vids recorded of the event), titling, and so on.

Also we've assembled a little something extra thanks to all the participents generousity in sharing their pics and vids of the entire event.

For those who aren't aware, video editing is time-comsuming and eats up hard drive space like candy. After about a week working on the project, I realized that I was going to need to clear some space on the drives and also discovered that I was heavily fraggmented. I spent the weekend into Monday housecleaning and defragging the system. Toss in a half a day power failure and an accidental erasure of a track in the video edit, I spent the wee hours of the morning re-assembling that track basically bringing things back to where they were at Saturday morning. :rolleyes: So I lost a few days in the project. I was hoping for this to be completed late this last weekend or Monday. I'm now hoping to have things wrapped up by this coming weekend.

Thanks for everyones patience. It's coming and I hope you'll feel it's worth the wait.

Yeah, I lost a few more days with Hamma's wedding and a couple of days spent at a good friend of mine who lost his MB and ended up upgrading getting him back in shape.

It WILL be done this weekend for sure. Just as a tease - the running length is 1hr 14m 26s. Not much longer - thanks for your patience.
