Its time to get this party started. I am now willing to spend my money to create the corp for PSU. Now all we need is a name for the corporation and a HQ office. Finding an office is going to be a little difficult but wont take me too long. Once we have a slot in Otalieto I will move our HQ there.

Corp regs:

I am going to be the CEO.

ElectroFreak will be the only other person in the corp with full access to our assets. If the corporation grows even larger this may change.

Depending on what type of ship you fly we will grant access to certain hangars in the corp hangars.

If you wish to requisition something from a corporation hangar you ask me, if I feel its justified you wil lrecieve the item.

All members will beable to see what exactly is in almost all hangars. The only exception is a personal hangar for me and Electrofreak. It will be used for temporary storage of blueprints and very rare items.

An Ore hangar will be created. When you have ore from refined materials please drop it in that hangar. It will be used later for production.

Our first primary Corp focus will be getting our members into good ships and start their eve carrers on a good foot. Secondary to this will be mining operations in a 0.0 system 11 jumps from Otalieto. We will have a designated day for the mining. The ore collected from the mining WILL be put into the corp. It will be used for the mass production of Missles to be sold on the market.

When Shiva is enacted a 2.5% tax rate will be put on the corp members. This tax rate will affect all of your profits. This will allow us to make corporaton purchases and not have drives to raise corp supplys every week.

Corp to member loans will be controled and no intrest will be charged. Your need for a loan over 2 million isk will be reviewed by both electro and my self. A loan over 40 Million isk will be voted upon by the entire corp if it is for personal use.

Corp spendings on such things as Blue prints and corp ships will be voted on if the total is over 60 million isk. Anything under will be discussed by electrofreak and my self.

When corporation profits start being very good members will be paid a weekly or montly dividend depending on the profit and depending on their preticipation in corp activites. Rank will have nothing to do with this dividend payment.

Last but not least. We need a name. Start suggesting what you think we will our selfs. Remember, we will eventualy be the black knights of space. We will be bounty hunters, not miners. Mining and production is a means to our goal. Good ships.

So Fire away with names. Also please make any suggestions you have for regs I just posted.

Ok, sorry to post this here but a looong time ago I played EVE Online and it seemed to me as a great game at the time but I did not carry on with it because of other monthly fee games but atm I am thinking about paying for this AND PS, however if you do not mind I have some questions I would like you to help me answer:

1. How much is the monthly fee?

2. Are servers divided by global position? Like seperate servers for Europe?

3. If so would it affect my gameplay greatly if I joined yours (American server I would assume) because I am in the UK, but I have a good connection.

4. What time do you also play, because I usually play games from like5pm or so GMT unless its my days off from College were usually I play during any time of day if I am in, so would me being in a diff timezone affect us playing together, because what I enjoy msot about these games is communication with people whoc an be good game friends and stuff, MMO's are more fun that way..by miles IMO.

1. The monthly fee is 14 USD I beleive.

2. There is one game server for ALL players, tranquility... it is the only live server, and is quite stable, located in Iceland.

3. Since the server is located in Iceland there shouldn't be any connection problems worse then what an American would get... and I can play the game nice and smooth with NO lag.

4. I play at varying times of the day... not sure on the EVE clock (EVE time is basically GMT) but you would most likely encounter some of us at any time in the day.

5. We're there to help you... PSU has its own EVE channel in game and we use a Teamspeak server for easier communication... us vets are there to help everyone.

If your not sure about it I suggest you download the 14 day trial... it will get you reaclimated with the game, and then you can go full subscription if you want.

You dont have to always use your selected race's ships. You can buy skill books to use other races ships.

Man as I look at SS and stuff I get even mroe cool memories, like how the ship makes cool noises and shakes when u go into warp drive mode and how u can mark stuff on your map and it will appear marked on screen, far, far away but u can actually go there...

Dont use the defende missle skill off the batt. Use standard missles. Defenders cant hit ships. Thats my only suggestion.

umm, i remember back in the day one of the most powerful fleets corp abriviation name was Moo, all of the more powerful corperations have silly abreviations and normal sounding names. as for EVE being pvp? it is PVP straight up, but, if you attack a nonhostile ship in empire space (with a security rating above .5) you will be shot down by the local 5-0

In other new me and electro spent 3 hours schemeing last nigth and we have about 3 get rich quick schemes. Its gonna take some time to get one implimented, another wont even get us rich, just make us popular, another is a deadly proposition with lots of overhead and risk, the third is a deadly proposition with alot less overhead but will take longer to implement because we need to get people to train cetrain skills. THe one I just mentioned is the one we are going to use. We are going to assign people to certain roles in this plan. Just to give you an idea of how much money we will make off of this, we will beable to buy a Teir 2 battleship BP with in a month. Thats a billion dollars....

Well most people that get heavy into Eve end up having a crafting mule and a combat character...much like any other MMO.

Cept in Eve you can only train one of the three character slots at once.

To acctualy get this to work right the people running the mining ships will need the following

Science 3
Mineing 4
Astrogeology 4
Cruiser 1 (Prefferbly 3)
Mechanic 1
Hull Upgrades 1

You will be flying ospreys with 3 tech 2 miners and 1 Heavy missle launcher. We also will need ECM on them to protect us. Mecanic is a prereq to hull upgrades which let us use cargo extenders so we can hold more ore in each ship.

THe Indies will need Industrial 3, mech 1 and Hull Upgrades 1

Thats fine Giga. We will decide who is doing what soon. Possibly tonight. You might be in a defensive role that protects us while we are mineing. It all depends on how good you are in combat. That will be decided in a few days during fleet testing and training. For example I know full well who is going to be one of our defenders, squeeky. Squeeky is an excelent combat pilot and a natural at this. He definatly will be one of our fighters. Electro is going to be because of pure fighter skills. I on the other hand wont be doing much fighting because I am the best miner we have right now. It just all depends on how good you are.

Combat trials can be carried out by anyone in the same corp. I.E. if squeeky angers me I can slam a scourge up his ass and watch the fireworks.
But we wont be destroying eachothers ships. Only down to 50% armor. After that the winner is declared.

Edit: I wont even do that much damage to you nubs seeing as you have to spend money to repair. I on the otherhand will let you beat down on my ship untill I have 10% armor. At that point ill say you won... but you wont get that far.

With engineering 5 and 3 Reactor Control Unit IIs, I can get 1235.7109375 Grid. CL is 1000, so that leaves 235 for lasers, another launcher and shields.

Is there any skill involved in mining in eve or is all pure stat based like it was in E&B both systems have their merits. Jumpgate gave you a bonus to your mining depending on how fast you could circle the rock. Grantted you could just float there and collect but it made a big difrence between us veteran rock lickers and others.

It's all stat based. Modifiers based on skills and which laser you have equipped.

Same as pretty much everything in Eve really, weapons do it the same way.

Not really, it is target and shoot, but that is because a more hands on one would be a lot more laggy.

But when you think about it, it is pretty accurate as a SIM. You are the guy in the ship, not the ship itself. So if you think about it like that, the controls get less frustrating.

Our home station is Otalieto VII Caldari Steel Warehouse. Affectionatly dubed the war house. We use otalieto as our home station because its right next to 2 great cruiser spawns, one just 2 jumps away and one IN the system.

I should be home around 1 o clock today depending on wether or not I fly.

We are Planetside Defence Union with the Ticker PSU.

Our armada grows larger with each day. The fleet now is around 15 people large. If you were all to subscribe we could make alot of money. The pieces of our plan are falling into place. Tonight I am focusing on making a shitload of cash for my self seeing as Ive spent nearly 10 million on all the newbies. Seriously if you hunt pirates, you need to go with something like the Suicide Comets or Nova Killers or Phoenix Fire Fleet.(ok the last one isn't so crazy or hot).

Alot of the times the funniest names of corps in the game are acctualy very powerfull. Example. The evil Pirate Corporation known to the EVE world as M0o. M0o is the most feared of all the pirate corps even though it is still just a shell of its former might.

I'll join the corp today after I get home, haven't gotten around to it yet. Right now I'm in an indie so I can ferry ore for the mining operation if thats possible. I'm working on Navigation and Afterburner to get to High Speed Manuevering and then getting some MWDs. I just hit 1 million isk last night, which is pretty decent for a 3 day newb I think. Trading pwns :) .
