The launch is sucking pretty bad right now, damn neigh unplayable half the time, down the other half, oh well. Anyone else on a server that has been up and going ALL the time since launch with minimal lag? I know tichondrius is b0rked...and I want to play somewhere else for a bit

Ive been playing on Lightbringer..and while it isnt lagfree its been up the whole time as far as i can tell. Try Burning Legion, on central i believe, i played there earlier and it was relatively lagfree dont know about now though.

For better play experience, try a pacific or mountain server with little to no population.

Keep in mind, there trying to fit 200,000 people into about 25 servers.

I'm gonna grab WoW during Christmas. The first week of any MMO sucks because you can't play it. Then the next few weeks are filled with last minute patches that put everything back on track and make the Beta people stop complaining about how much better it was before release. I wish there was a way to save my characters name though!

World of Warcraft Selling Out in Stores Nationwide - Block on 11/24/04

In just one day, World of Warcraft sold through an estimated 250,000 copies to players. Over 200,000 accounts have already been created, and peak concurrency across all active game servers has been above 100,000. See the full media alert here to read more about Blizzard's epic first day of World of Warcraft! The alert also contains details about Blizzard's plans to steadily increase server capacity and make more copies of the game available to stores in the coming weeks.

I've seen a few forums with people complaining (not saying this is complaining) about problems with the game, and how it should have stayed in Beta lil longer. But I haven't seen one problem or long server shutdown at all. I play on Bloodhoof, never any lag, longest the server has been down is 20+ minutes tops. Nobody ever complains in General Chat either.

Archimonde just came up, and I was finally able to start my main char. Three are still down; Mal'Ganis, Durator, and Kadghar.

it should run fine, it would run quite a bit better though if you added like 256mb ram.
