i rarely ever go more than 5 jumps a trip of less than 3 minutes, 30 min trips are a rareity unless you have to go out to alliance space and back to empire for some reason.

You don't have to mine, you can blow shit up, thats what i do, unless we do a mining op, but mining op measn frees ships for some people.

Yes you have to train up skills but you don't have to be there for it to train you just have to stop in for a sec to change skills when your done with one.

i have died 3x, once because peace when crazy and shot my frig with a torpedo, and the other 2 were basicaly in-game-insurance fraud. :)

Eve is a good game, its amazing how complex the ingame political system is, it is literaly run by the players, fuck, players hold rallies to protest slavery (i shit you not) and in the end they always get attacked. there are alliances (and not the PS alliances where you share teamspeak) with 3000 players (that actualy play, not like the 666th) that have the occasional fleet battle with 100-200 ships(laggy as fuck). most of the time though, battles in that game are ambush, and retreat. if you get ambushed, you run, if you ambush they retreat, or at least try. so most of the time, youll see small fights, 1v1, 1v2 (most of the time its 1 or 2 vs superior force). the game is good, if your gonna play it, play at least a month before you make a decision on it.

Based on my play experiences with EVE, it is visually pleasing. You could just sit back and go "wooooooooo" while traveling around. But, that wears off pretty fast and you're left with a game that is, well, slow.
They need a freelancer mmo. That would be nice...

A freelancer MMO would be interesting, but only if there was a lot more to do in it. The crux of Freelancer was doing missions or trading to get money, and they kinda implemented factions and stuff.


I'd like to see a game where it's mostly space-based, but where you can walk around, and you have small-arms. Where player clans could manage their own bases and capital ships, but where it'd be significantly easier to do if you had multiple people managing the capital ships. Where you could find your clan's capital ship, either type in or say the docking password, and fly in to dock. The bases and ships would maintain their own stores of ammo and weapons, along with various other supplies. On foot, which would be in bases or on planets, you could produce your own small-arms, or even small bombs, as well as some trading goods. A bit like SWG:JTL, but far more space-based than ground-based.


Your cargo would also be worth something more than money. You can put different things in cargo boxes, and pirates threaten you to get your cargo, or could attack you, at risk of destroying the cargo. This is where the explosives could come in handy. You rig up a remote detonator to a concealed bomb hidden in your cargo. When some pirate threatens you and wants to take your cargo, you could transfer the box with the bomb to them first through the onboard teleporter, then run to the cockpit and fly off as fast as you can. While they're standing there waiting for the cargo to come and inspecting it, you move away. A few seconds later, they realize you're leaving. You put a small amount of distance between you and them, then detonate the bomb, killing them. Then you can fly back, take anything they have on them or in their cargo hold, then get one of those uber-strong nano-tech ropes from your ship, fly out in your space suit, literally attach it to the front of their ship, and tow it to port, or to a clan capital ship, where you can conduct repairs on it and either sell it or keep it to augment the clan fleet.


Basically a space game where you do almost everything, vastly player-driven. If you could do it without a big subscription free, so much the better.

The PVP in eve I have to say is superb.

Eve may seem and look slow, the pvp however is not that slow. Battleship vs Battleship fleet battles can be slow, but they are very exciting, and your adrenaline will be pumping. If you fly anything smaller it gets really fast and you have to pay attention to everything, what your enemy is doing, your speed, your capacitor, your guns, your shields everything. Thats a lot of stuff going on.

It is a lot of fun, but to get the skillpoints and cash needed to become a dedicated pvper can take some time. At the most it would take you three months. A battleship is definitlely worth the money because battleships are cash mashines, they will make you money, whether it be mining or npcing.

What am i missing? i got the trial, played for 10 min, was confused as hell, then i figured out how to get the map up, then i had to figure out how tyo close it, then i found an asteroid belt, wen up to it and stated mining for 20 minutes, almost fell asleep, then some guy comes up to me and tells me to join some thing that seemed pointles, and after 30 min i found their head quraters, had a hard time geting out of the HQ, then when i was done, i didnt know what to do, so i mined some more, then i as even more confused for some reason, and i quit because of boredom/lack of direction/emptyness. What am i missing? this isnt fun...

Whats to lead? We already have a corp that can build battleships in less than a week.

To talk on action of PVP engagements in eve I had one 3 days ago. My alternate character which I purchased from Sobekus is in an alliance and was in alliance space. This particular alliance has pissed off most of the world in eve. So 3 nights ago I sat mining for the 3rd most precious mineral in the game (which aint so boreing when you have countless NPCs to deal with). I am sitting there when my local chat box begins flareing. Hostiles in system. PA Alliance.... damn. 1 hostile confirmed. I report back to my corps Player Owned Station, a massive complex surrounded by a 30km bubble shields and eject from my mining ship and board my Typhoon class battleship. The only other person online in my corp meets me there in his own typhoon. Me and him had been discussing a tag team setup both our ships could use. 4 Energy draining devices that zap the power from an enemy ship and add it to your own, 4 torpedo launchers, lots of power rechargers, and two armor repairers. We setforth for the only place the enemy would likly be. The Tenal Factory. The only station around for 8 jumps. We get there and no one is there. My friend docks to switch up some ammo. I stay outside guarding for his eventual undocking.

I open my scanner and begin scanning the Solar System looking for a possible attack angle. Bingo, a scorpion battleship is in warp heading for my position. The second I see it on my scanner it pops out of its subspace warp bubble and appears 20 km from my ships position. I check local, no other enemy are in system. I tell my backup whats going on and he starts to undock. I start to engage my enemy. Lock on and zap some of his power as I fire a voly of torpedos. He returns the voly. Suddenly my sensors crakle and zizzle and the lock is gone. Jammed. My sensors are totaly gone and I cannot target him. My torpedo barrage slams into his ship a second later and knocks down his shields. Back up finaly undocks and immediatly opens up on the scorpion who can only jam one of us at a time. Suddenly the unmistakeable signs of a warp trails. A logon trap! The enemy had waited till we engaged to log back on and instantly warp ontop of us. 2 more scorpion battleships and a crow interceptor. THey immediatly jammed up my engines. Suddenly there is a lapse in the jamming fields. They must have run out of power. I lock the interceptor send a volly of torpedos at him, lock the first scorpion and let loose another volly. The interceptor easily outmanuvers my missles with the help of speed modifying devices. The scorpion takes a direct hit from both me and my backup. As I launched my volly another scorpion took over jamming me. Right after the torpedos of both of our ships slammed into the enemy he warped away. The enemy continues to launch torpedo after torpedo at my ship but my armor tank is holding strong. They eventualy run out of power and the 2nd jammer starts to warp away. I take my opportunity. The interceptor is back but this time has gotten cocky and come too close to my ship. I lock on and suck all of his ships energy adding it to my own.

The little nimble ship immediatly slows down. It might as well be a normal frigate now. I fire off a torpedo and it smacks into the ship destroying it. I turn my attention to a warp trail on the opposite side of the station. Its the first scorpion again. But there is a problem. As soon as the 2nd jamming ship warps out my backup takes the opportunity to run for it. Its an out numbered fight and we didnt think we would win. He warped away as the two jammer ships traded. I locked onto the jamming ship and looked at its status. Half shields and its armor is gone leaving only the hull of the ship. I fire a torpedo barage that strikes it destroying it outright. The huge ship goes through a series of death throws and explodes in a blinding flash. Now I direct my attention to the scorpion that is preventing me from warping away. I activate my own warp scrambler and watch as he trys to run. I fire off my energy drainers and my torpedos. I quickly overcome the small shield boosters he had. The ship was not designed to take fire as the other two would have prevented that. Three barrages of four torpedos strike the ship and then the 2nd jammer arrives. By this time I am low on power my self even with the drainers. My armor at half and both my repairers are running. The 2nd jammer ship returns, mostlikly still low on cap and trying to save the warp jammer. I continue firing on the warp jammer as its my only hope of escaping. They both continue to fire at me but one of the ships changed its torpedos to thermal, the type my armor is weakest against at the time. My tank starts to buckle and I fire one last volly at the jamming ship. It looks like I am about to escape. But suddenly 2 more enemy battleships pop out of warp. A megathron, which is a huge ship covered in high energy shotgun style blasters and a raven which is the bigger brother of the scorpion, more torpedo tubes and better shields. My tank is now almost gone. As the torpedos strike the jamming ship 3 things happen, my backup finally warps back in to try and help, my ship starts exploding and the warp jamming ship starts to explode. I eject from my ship and warp away in the escape pod watching my ugly little battleship explode. A prang in my heart is felt. My blood is rushing. Adrenalin pumping fercely. My ship is gone. My friends and I worked so hard to build the ship. Those bastards destroyed it.

But then a wave of happyness. I just engaged 3 battleships toe to toe and destroyed two and one of their backup ships. I look back to local chat. Curses on my ship. I check the window for corp communications. My backup easily made it out of the fight. With no ship to scramble his engines he warped to my location at the Player owned station. We discussed the battle as I posted my kill mails on our forums. I decided that my ship didnt need the warp scrambler and would be better off with an anti jamming sensor power booster. The insurance company came through and paid me for the loss. Not enough to cover the whole ship but enough to stay active while I rebuild it. My heart begins to slow down. I go back to remorse for the loss of my ship.

Sobekus, thanks for a great starting character. He preformed admirably in the face of over whelming odds.

On a side note, the corp I speak of is not the corp all of the PSU members are in. Its a corp I had my alternate join as to infiltrate some one and try to start their downfall. At the same time I profit off of their position in alliance space and mine for the precious ore. My main character however is one of the leaders of the PSU corp. He still has 2 battleships to kick some ass.

eve is the only mmo i have played that makes you start to shake as you engage, everyone i know on eve feels the same thing, a rush when the battle starts, its weird, but it is there, if you actualy know whats going on and what your doing that is.

But yeah, PVP is where EVE really shines. I lost a Raven Battleship (Big ol' missile boat) yesterday when I had a run-in with the EVE cops, CONCORD. One of our corp mates was in his Apocalypse Battleship when he was attacked by several other Battleships in low security space. I rushed to help my buddy but it was too late, they'd destroyed his ship. One of the attackers in a frigate attempted to flee on a different tangent than the battleship attackers, so I charged after him. He was at a warpgate attempting to flee, and had several kilometers yet to travel before he could make the jump into another system. I activated a Sensor booster, locked onto the fuckers ship and hit his ship with an energy drain. The guy's afterburners cut out, his ship devoid of energy, as I launched a volley of high-speed Cruise missiles at him. However, his ship still had a good deal of accumulated speed from his Afterburners and coasted to the gate and jumped out just as my missiles were about to impact. The warp gates sentry turrets saw me fire upon the frigate and flagged me as a hostile aggressor, and began firing upon my Battleship. I activated several shield reinforcement modules and held out against the damage. I warped to another gate and thinking only of getting the hell out of the system before some more Battleships showed up to attack me, warped into a high-security system. I should have remembered that I was flagged as a criminal, and emerged in the high-security system with the guns of several police Battleships pointed directly at me. I was outnumbered, and they quickly had me pinned down. My Battleship was torn to shreads by the police within a dozen seconds or so.

I pulled a stupid move but I had insurance on the ship and was reimbursed for my loss. Most of the gear on my Battleship survived the explosion intact, and Rbstr flew over in a frigate and recovered it. With the insurance money, I bought a new Scorpion Battleship, which I've been wanting instead of the Raven anyhow. This ship is a lot more versatile and while it isn't as powerful offensively, it's a beast to kill when properly set up for defense. Next time I won't be so foolish to hop into the arms of the police when I'm under a Criminal status. :p

Not sure if its still runnin but give it a shot. Like mentioned previously, this is a game that takes a bit to get into. It can be really confusing and such when you start, but gets pretty cool after the first couple weeks.

Eve really is the opposite of every other mmo, CCP concentrated on the long term, not just the first couple monthes.

There are people that have played almost two years...Eve has the best player retension rate of any mmo. And few own less than 2 accounts.

Well, since we are sharing EVE stories, I guess I'll tell one that involved me and Peacemaker.

We were in a Solar System just one jump from PSDU's HQ, doing a complex (A place to kill alot of NPC's, the one we were at had about 25 Cruiser NPCs..kinda hard to kill by yourself ;) ), we were both in Caracal class Cruisers, basicly the cruiser version of the Raven, a missile-boat, really good for NPC fighting. We get done with the first part of the complex, and a guy comes in with a Interceptor, an advanced version of a frigate, and soon after his buddy comes in a BlackBird class Cruiser, a cruiser that can jam you pretty good. After we finish the complex, the BB locks Peace, but holds his fire. Soon after they open fire on Peace, we both instantly lock the Interceptor and kill him easily. The BB was harder though, instead of using his jamming abilities to jam, he used them to strengthen his defense. We were hitting him with 10 Heavy missiles about every 13 seconds, which is pretty good. We did'nt even get passed his shields. We both warped out to get better ships. Peace has ActiveX there also in a very fast frigate, while the BB continued to fire on him. I got in my own BB to jam him, and Peace got a better fitting for his Caracal. I tried to get to them and help, but my BB had the shittiest set-up ever, and I have to go through about 4 cruiser NPC's to get to Peace.

Well, Peace ended up losing his Caracal, but it was worth it. You see, an Interceptor costs about 10-15million in-game cash, and a Caracal cost only 6 million, so we lost the battle, but won the war ;)

EDIT: Yes, a very experienced pirate corp named Teddybears just declared war on us. One of our members, who is also experienced, and has connections, got some info on them. They use some of the best known tactics in the game to kill. They go to war with corps they think they can kill. They have only 11 members to make other corps think they can kill them, but they have many friends that help them in their wars. Bastards. :(

Yeah, we know. I've got the lowdown on how their corp operates and I know the extent of their history. They sent us an ultimatum today that required us to pay them 250 million, move out of Lonetrek, close down all of our offices in the region, or fall under siege.

We've got 2 options. First, we just bunker down, play a lot of CS:S and wait for them to get bored and leave.

Second, we garner the support of other corps and make them back off with a display of force. They warred 2 other corps besides us today. We've contacted them and we've agreed to all work together vs the TBs if we have to. Between PSDU and our allies, we can probably manage at least a dozen battleships and a couple dozen smaller ships if we really wanted to make a stand.

We're going to try option 1 first, and then resort to option 2 as plan B.

And we don't know who the client is who hired the Teddybears to kill us. We're trying to gather as much information as possible before the war is officially begun, which will be 6:00pm this Saturday. So we've got until then to prepare and gather information. Best of luck to us, we're going to need it.

Well, we don't just start a war with some random people. We are still building our fleet up...no reason to go off and start a war and get ourselves killed. Plus, It's $1 mill a week to keep a war going, not including ship losses and clones/implants from the war.

Ok, cliff notes for those of you who care. If you dont care, just ignore this post, thanks.

A few weeks ago, one of the most infamous pirate corps in the game (The Teddybears :lol: ) declares war on us at random. A few days later we tell them we'll pay them to call off the war. They end the war. This buys us time to prepare for conflict. Then we tell em "Uhm, fooled you, we aren't paying you jack." They then start the war back up this morning.

One of them (the CEO of the enemy corp) camps outside our HQ in a battleship. He leaves for a moment, and our fleet consisting of 8 ships undocks and heads to an empty point in space. He returns to the station and docks. We then lay siege to the station. He sits inside, scared to come out and get destroyed. We get bored after a while and go off do other things.

Then he undocks in a high-speed interceptor (Crow) and attempts to flee. We all warp back to the station and prevent him from escaping. He is too fast for our large guns to track, but he passes too close to me and I drain the power from his ship, causing its afterburners to cut out and the ship slow down enough that the volley of cruise missiles I launched catches up to him and blows his ship up. He then warps out in his escape pod.

He returns in a Ferox Battlecruiser, but stays very far out from the station. We know hes going to try to dock and gain access to his battleship. If we approached him, he would just leave before we can kill him. OmnipotentKiwi flies up next to the guy and places a bookmark for us. He then provides Rbstr (our pinning ship) with a warp vector on the enemy ship. Rbstr warps to the enemy and begins to scramble his engines. We all engage with long range weapons and ECM. The enemy cannot target us because of the ECM, but he sets his combat drones on Rbstr, destroying his small frigate seconds before we could destroy his ship. With his engines back online, he runs.

The majority of the group heads to a warp gate and attempts to catch any targets coming through. Unfortunately, the enemy CEO manages to slip through an alternate route and get to his battleship in the station. We warp in and begin to engage him. A pretty spectacular battle commences. Our fleet begins to fire upon the enemy Raven Battleship as Rbstr pins it down. As it takes a pounding, another battleship warps in, this time an Armageddon Battleship. I begin to take heavy fire from the new target as I attempt to switch my Electronic warfare modules from the dying enemy Raven to the Armageddon beating on me. I'm taking heavy damage and doing my best to replenish my shields. I manage to hit the enemy with my sensor dampners, reducing his targeting range to a handful of kilometers. I'm a fair ways off, so he loses his lock onto my ship. The Raven Battleship dies, and the fleet switches focus to the Armageddon.

The CEO flying the Raven is one of the most wanted people in EVE. With a 100 million bounty on his head, it is imperative that we destroy his escape pod and retrieve his frozen corpse. Peacemaker is prepared for this event however, and as the guy ejects from his exploding Battleship, Peace uses his Smartbomb module to send an immense shockwave out from his ship which allows him to destroy the pod before it manages to make the jump to safety. The enemy Armageddon at this point begins to take heavy damage as the fleet pumps it full of tachyon beams, mega pulse lasers, and torpedos. The dude knows hes going down, but Rbstr is too far away to prevent him from warping out. The Armageddon escapes with its life, barely.

We are rewarded over 100 million for the podding of Zarquon Beeblebrox, the enemy CEO. The Armageddon pilot whined in local that we're unskilled and only won because of our numbers. We reminded him that he was the one stupid enough to think he can take us all on. http://forums.bohicagaming.com/html/emoticons/tongue.gif Seeing as how we killed one of the most notorious people in the game, we've suddenly gained a lot of attention and respect in the EVE universe. However, the enemy has a lot more resources than we do, and will likely return in greater force next time, and be much more cautious. We have won the battle, but we haven't won the war. This victory will doubtless rally more people to our aid, but our enemy also has friends and won't take this defeat lightly. Our corporation will have to play our cards very carefully through the remainder of this war.

edit- and yeah, Firecracker, the 100 million from the bounty has to go into the corp's pilot to fund the war. We will use that money to help replace ships that are lost in the conflict. Hopefully the war won't last much longer and we can all go back to making some cash.

guess what happens to people like that in ANY other corp, your put on the kill on site stalk/greif list and booted out, and people do nothing except ruin your EVE life all day. If you join a small corp or something excpect to be wared and station camped untill you quit.

The whole crew in EVE normaly gets along. When I started the corp I made it clear that I wanted absolutly no preconsieved notions from the PSU forums to be brought to the game. I was very suprised that this acctualy happened. I even got electrofreak and squeeky to get along! (Please dont ask how)

Yeah, Squeeky and I even more or less made amends in EVE. It's pretty much agreed that any differences on the forums are not to be brought into EVE. I'm just a little dissapointed in Firecracker for pullin that stunt. PSDU is all about trust. We share a big pool of items that all our members gain access to. Anyone could easily just take a whole bunch of valuable gear and run, but it hasn't happened because of the pretty cool trust we have in one another. When someone tries to scam someone else in the corp, even if they're just joking around, it damages that trust. We really like to avoid that. The Corp goal is to always assist our members who need it the most. If Firecracker needs items or a ship, we'll do as much as we can to help him with it.

And, I guess we're all a bit stressed with the war going on. We've made some powerful allies and we're winning thus far (which is totally amazing as I, along with pretty much everybody else, thought we were gonna get creamed) but it could still quickly turn bad. Especially if the Teddybears gain the support of their friends "Tundragon" against us. We REALLY could do without having to fight 2 elite pirate corps.

That said, we're going to fight our enemies for as long as we can. In order to accomplish this, we're going to need to trust and support one another as much as we can. Go PlanetSide Defense Union! :p

Was in Oursulet, a pretty much nooby gallente agent system and Squirrel pops in with an apoc and no matter where i warped he followed so i tried docking and bout 5 secs b 4 i could dock he killed my destroyer and pod. Darksim made that post about the EVE scammer guy. The thing is, myself, Peacemaker and a few other people were already into EVE at that point. It simply got more people interested, and expanded our ranks a bit.

As for PSDU, its in a state of stasis until we become rich and influential enough to actually do what we want to with the Corporation. The plan is that we get rich while in Xetic (mining, NPCing, PVPing etc) and then come back later and do what we actually want to do because we'll have the money for it. Hopefully we can get the corp into Xetic some day. I hope we can make this all work... to do so requires people to actually come back to PSDU eventually and keep playing EVE.

Tonight though I played for several hours and had a blast. The ability to ECM NPCs now is pretty cool, I'm making good use of my Scorpion in level 4 agent mission battles :)

Yea. It acctualy would make cruiser pilots viable in level 4 now. A few BBs with my raven and I wouldnt really worry about them at all. Electro tried a "high speed" battleship chace last night too. Now THAT was funny. Also it appears that me and electro are so damn leet that enemy battleships dont bother to even tank our damage. They just let them selfs sucumb to the volly of torpedos that we lay down.

Just to let you all know too, we are firing back up the PSDU corp. The war with the mercs ended (a technical victory, we did WAAAAY more damage to them and they ended the war, also after pod killed their CEO she like.... never logged on again) so we are starting it back up. See ya around.

He opened his eyes and felt himself floating in a glass tube, suspended in a clear jelly. He watched as it slowly drained away and wondered what he was doing back in this building again. A man suddenly appeared outside his enclosure in front of him, a white towel at the ready.

The glass walls around him slid upwards into the ceiling, and a man handed him the towel while regarding him with an expression of pity. "Poor fellow. Please, follow me." He followed the man and was lead into a room with several projector screens and speakers.

"Your clone, or should I say, you, have been activated because your previous form has died. As part of the contract, it is my duty to provide you with as much information as possible of the events up until your death. Unfortunately, it is also my duty to show you why your parents aren't here with me."

The main screen flickered on, showing the interior of a cargo transport that seemed to have been roughly refitted as a passenger transport. There were rows of chairs bolted to the floor of the large room, and a small portable restroom sat in the corner. He saw himself, sitting with his parents in the second row of seats. There weren't many passengers, only a dozen or two, and many seats were unfilled.

Suddenly, the room shook, sending several people sprawling to the floor. The camera recording the events temporarily filled the viewscreen with static as the power cut out on the transport. When the picture returned, the lights in the room had dimmed, as if running on reserve power. A point of the far wall began to glow orange, as if something was melting the metal. The point began to progress down the wall, and it became evident that something was cutting its way through.

A nervous voice, presumably that of the captain, filled the room. "Passengers, please remain calm. A pirate vessel has taken control of the ship and appears to be boarding! Give them your valuables and they may leave us peacefully. Whatever you do, do NOT resist them!"

He watched as his mother took hold of his fathers hand and looked frightened. He could see himself trying to reassure her as the cutting beam finished the last few inches of its path. With a loud metallic clang, a portion of the hull fell to the deck interior. Behind, he could see dark shapes floating forward and gaining purchase to the deck as they began to feel the effects of the ships artificial gravity. A burly man was the first one through, wielding a large laser rifle and looking as though he'd been on the wrong end of one several times as well. A huge scar disfigured the side of his face so that he seemed to sneer at the passengers shrinking back from him. "All of your valuables, in the bag, NOW. Make trouble and you die."

A man stepped forward from behind him and began pulling at the nearest passengers, taking wallets, jewelry, trinkets, anything of value, and throwing them in a large bag. A few minutes later he approached the two parents and the teenager sitting up front. They seemed to have little to offer. The father held out a few credits which the pirate took with a disgusted look. He glanced around and his eyes settled on the gold ring that lay on the mother's finger. Grinning, he grasped her hand and attempted to pull it free. The woman struggled, clenching her fist and refusing to let go. The pirate, apparently used to this reaction, pulled forth a knife and with one deft movement had cut the womans finger off.

Screams of pain filled the room as the pirate pulled the ring forth from the bloody stub on the floor. The father lept forward and struck the pirate, who fell backward, quickly drew his blaster and shot the man in the head. The man crumpled to the deck, an oozing crater in his forehead.

He watched himself stare, horrified, at his screaming, sobbing mother, and his dead father on the floor. The pirates had finished their act of robbery and were rapidly dissapearing through the hatchway. Seconds later, the dark tunnel past the hole in the hull seemed to shift, and suddenly broke free. Beyond shone the stars, cold and bright against the black of space. The compartment depressurized. Flailing bodies, mouths open as they attempted to scream against the infinite silence of space, were torn from their seats and thrown towards the black oblivion beyond.

Within the space of a few seconds, he watched his mother as she was torn from his grasp, his fleeting grip on a chair granting him only a fraction of a second longer to live. After a moment, it was all done. The room was empty save for the chairs and the restroom, and the black Star-speckled hole that had devoured himself and his family.

The image froze, and with tears in his eyes, he looked up. The man looked down at him with a pained expression of pity and sadness. "I'm sorry... according to bank records they had put most of their bank savings into this clone for you... they didn't have any of their own. The destination of the transport was the State War Academy in Kisogo, where you had evidently just been accepted to begin training. We can arrange for transport there if you wish."

In a voice broken by anger and grief, he finally spoke. "Thats what they would want. When I graduate the Academy I'll find those bastards and make them pay... some day..."

After graduating the SWA, he became an elite sniper for the Caldari Special Forces. There, he gained his code name, Electrofreak, due to his skill at cracking security systems. Electrofreak fought to maintain the order of the Caldari State; for piracy cannot thrive in a society dominated by the harsh justice of the Caldari.

Posing as a code slicer/mercenary assassin, he infiltrated another terrorist organization dedicated to stealing Caldari military secrets and exposing them to the public. There, he learned of the Caldari Privateering Project, a secret plan by the Caldari State to hire pirates to perform their dirty work.

Disgusted, Electrofreak resigned from the Special Forces, purchased a starship and began his journey amoung the stars, dedicating his life to removing the blight of piracy from the galaxy.

As for you all interested in joining the TS, the IP is listed in the MOTD of the PSU chat channel in EVE. The PSDU channel of the server is password locked but if you show up in the server and ask us in-game we'll supply you the password. TeamSpeak has been getting pretty active recently during the evening hours (like 10+ people), so theres always an interesting discussion going on in there.

Haha, Last night I was in my Crow covering Electro's trip into Aunenen from Nonni. He accelerated to warp in Nonni before me, but I being an Interceptor caught up and dropped out of warp drive right behind him. As soon as electro 'Poped' out of warp he goes "Hey! Look! A Flashing red!!!"

A flashing red means that the person in question has commited enough hanis acts that CONCORD (the intergalaxy police) no longer protects him. As soon as I drop out I look around fast. Electro is 3 KM infront of my ship and this pod is about 10km to the relative left of my ship.

I start targeting him and fly on a straight course for the gate. When the target time (started at 2.5 seconds) droped to 1 second I turned towards the pod and engaged my Micro Warp Drive. The crow shot out towards the pod at over 2 km a second. At 1km I unleashed a trio of missles (a tactic akin to dive bombing a target) which immediatly slammed into the pod. No more bad guy.

Well the first thing that happens is that I get an EVE Mail from this guys brother (or alt) and claims I will have 67 gankers after me now. I reply that he will have a good time war decing Solar Storm and any Alliance they may join. We all laugh as I scoop the frozen corpse into my cargo hold and engage my MWD, shooting back towards electro's lumbering hauler.

Last Night Electro got his Raven cornered in a Lai Dai Station in Tamo (0.3) by 4 pirates, two of whom were also in Battleships (Armageddon and Dominix), the other two in Cruisers (Maller and Blackbird).

Mobilizing forces would have taken too long, so I flew in with a Frigate (Rifter) and buzzed the station at 60 km, they smelled an ambush and logged, Electro's Raven made it out with room to spare.

Teamwork is important in Eve, having just two people working together can vastly increase how much less effort each individual has to put into survival. Now imagine that with even 10 people, most fleets are smaller than that. One squad in PlanetSide can be an entire Battle Group in Eve.

Your poor caracal is gona benefit against anything in or above it's class.

And Cruisers get The only missle that is made to shoot to a lower class of ships, the Assult Launcher. It rocks frigates.
