I think this movie will be great, blizzard wont let any crap come out in theaters if it doesnt accurately depict what they had in mind for Warcraft, and for a long time I wanted the game's lore in a live-action film similar to the lord of the rings. I have very high hopes for this movie.

That dosent make any sence though. How can you make a movie off of a game specificly when that game has its own universe behind it. Books have been written on the Warcraft universe. How could you make the movie specificly about WoW and not the warcraft universe?

Lets do some math. It has 6 million subscribers. EVERY single one of them is gonna go see it, thats 60 million in the box office. Over the past 8 years you have had Warcraft I-III, all huge hits with millions of players. Im guessing another 10 million people, that being 100 million in the box office from that. Family, friends, kids, and anyone else that these WoW players will take with them. Assuming each person takes at least 1 other person, thats double. So right there we have 320million in the box alone. Im guessing its gonna be higher than that

They won't do the game based on the fucking game. Maybe on the lore, etc. but not on the MMO. It's not like it's gonna be: "Warcraft: A journey to level 60!".
