Dave Georgeson updated the main site with news that the first 50 testers have started downloading PlanetSide for tomorrow's test! We just sent out the Exclusive Beta download emails. There's a whole group of players downloading the game for the very first time right now...people just like you. We (the dev team) are extremely excited to finally be debuting the game, albeit in a limited fashion for the moment.
Saturday is our first test with "real people" (folks outside of SOE). After that test is completed, we'll start authorizing even more beta testers to enter the fray and continue to do so each week until we launch the Open Beta later on...with something like 20,000 players!Check out the full annoucment here (http://planetside.station.sony.com/news_story.jsp?story=54327).
