Most vehicles in PlanetSide's future use wheels. Me no likely...
For the Wraith I'd like for it to be more interesting to look at and play with, and also strafe left and right. It would be shielded all-round and fast-moving and to enter the driver's see you crouch behind it and lean forward onto steering.
Imagine this as a one-person vehicle without the doors left and right. Imagine you get into this vehicle from behind, hiding behind the metalic cloaking roof. Hovering left and right and forward-propulsion at incredible torque and speeds like the Speeder Bike (http://images3.wikia.nocookie.net/starwars/images/f/ff/74zSpeederbike-NEGVV.jpg) from Star Wars.
