Raijinn was nobody that really had any real influence in PS, and mourning the loss in that capacity is silly. PlanetSide's future had zero to do with him.

Gaming companies, especially in an economic crunch or especially companies that have excess employees who affect the company's bottom line on games which don't have a lot of income, routinely lay people off.

I saw two years' worth of layoffs at EA-Mythic. People come and people go. That's all there is to it.

SOE actually had some pretty severe cuts in the last year and a half. I think they're probably just condensing their Community team, that's all.
