Please make PS:N pay to play. We saw what happen in PS with all the hackers. We look at other F2P games and see how bad they are (community wise)

I looked and nothing confirmed that it was P2P, (besides the fact that PS was)
does anyone have any info I missed?

There is no information at all about the game so far, so everything is speculation at this point.

I disagree. A game like PlanetSide requires a huge playerbase to make it fun. If you force players to pay for the game, you lose a HUGE number of potential players.

The hackers were playing completely free accounts. Free to play doesn't necessarily mean its totally free. If you have to buy the game, it will be a significant incentive to not cheat, since its $50 down the drain, even if there are no subs.


I'm ambivalent, and wouldn't mind either option, though I believe game purchase + free to play would be the best compromise between continued server pops and hackers. I have no idea if it would be financially possible though.
