I'm lost here. Here is the deal, im upgrading for PS. Im using my old proccesor and stuff, but getting a new case and mobo. I'm looking to spen about $100 bucks on the mobo and this is what i want from it:
8x agp
USB 2.0
Firewire
DDR 400 or 333
LAN ( not a neccesity, i have LAN card i can use)
Hyperthreading technology (not sure what this is, im assuming most P4s in the futer are gonna use this and i wann keep this mobo for a while)

Any suggestions are welcome!

P4G8X deluxe is the best motherboard for a Pentium that supports HT technology. It will be more than $100 but if you're upgrading and want to keep it for awhile I suggest getting that.

Unless your current set up is some how bottlenecked, just a new mobo wont really help, unless you get some new stuff for it ;)

Get a granitebay chipset mobo and run your ram ddr at 133(266)... you'll get a whooping 4.2gb mem bandwith! It's almost as good as rambus for a hell of alott less =)

the AOpen AX4R is the best overall granitebay board from the tests i've seen.
