Hour 1
We all stood watching and waiting for the sign. It was a Vanu base that had to be taken over to secure a safe passage for the convoy. The tanks were comming from behind the tower. We had no clue what the tanks were but we were worried it wouldn't be enough. Once we had the first shots the Vanu would probably strike fast with their energy weapons but we were ready.
Hour 4
Tensions were high. The tanks were ready but we needed an order from the commander to attack. Waiting was getting increasingly hard. Every second seemed like an hour.
Hour 6
The scout reported more Vanus than he could count. the patrolling Vanu guards were all standing around with no clue that we even existed. A commander ran by screaming to get ready. The snipers all took aim at different guards.
Hour 7
The order was made and the snipers fired. The tanks started the bombardment. Knowing we couldn't go in while our tanks were destroying the base we had to wait more.
Hour 8
The tanks had done all they could and we charged the stronghold. So many Vanu came out, we couldn't count. We fought as hard as we could. People were dieing everywhere. I saw an opening in the lines and took it. I found myself in the enemy base. It was empty except for the occasional Vanu soldier running out to fight. Everyone else was fighting. It had seemed they had lost so many during the bombardment that they had to send out everyone. I ran for the main computer and hacked into, stealing the base in the name of the New Conglomerate.
Hour 10
The Vanu were retreating knowing they had lost. We had a celebration in victory but I could not attend. I was in bad shape and needed to back to the sanctuary in the galaxy. We had won, but only to lose in the future.
