AGN Community Night, October 15th

We will be taking to the airwaves again October 15th for another Community Night! There will be the usual roundtable discussion of current events in PlanetSide 2. As we draw closer the topic list will be set.

We are likley going to go FULL VIDEO during this next event to test out the waters with that medium! Ever wanted to see my ugly mug on live video during the broadcast? Probably not.. but if you did now will be your chance.

Hamma, Marsman and Jennyboo will be live in studio (and on video) during the event and we will also be taking guests via TeamSpeak and possibly Skype! So mark your calendars now and tune in on October 15th at 9PM EDT.

One of the internets magics is to never know the face of the guy your talking with. Based on the personality, the voice and other stuff, people then start giving those faceless voices faces in their head. Disrupting that may cause serious trouble, and there really is no benefit in seeing your faces while you talk. Unless you do live porn, but that propably wont happen. :(

There will still be a Teamspeak aspect to it for guests - wont be 100% video. Video will be "optional" for call in guests. TS will still be the primary method of communication for community participants.

But the main participants and hosts will be video.

Edit: plus the main folks, Myself, Mars and Jenny - most people already know what we look like. :lol:

You guys tried Xplit out by any chance? Its free broadcasting software allot of casters use for Starcraft2, seems to work nicely :)

And here I spent a couple hours rationalizing to myself why overdrive is broken and lockdown is fine, it's the DC that needs adjustment not the ability.

Glad to see that the prep time is an hour ahead, should help the logistics.
