Looking for a home ('Hardcore'/EU)

Hi there,

I'm looking for a Hardcore EU outfit.

When i say 'Hardcore', i mean heavily structured, play to win and serious. I've played many PvP centric games such as Eve, Darkfall, Mortal Online etc. I know what its like to be in that environment and i know whats expected of me.

Having said that, i also like to roll with people who can have a laugh. Being the best at something and taking it seriously, doesn't mean you can't have a laugh while doing it. :)

I played Planetside 1 alot over the years (VS Werner). So i know the game through and through. Spent most of my time dropping from a Galaxy with a squad, doing gen holds/hacks etc.

Faction doesn't matter to me, my allegiance is to the people i play with, not a banner or set of colours. :)

I haven't had any replies yet as such.

Most of the outfits seem to be based with our good friends in the USA. I'd be more than happy to play there if it wasn't for the ping/time difference. :(

I think you scare the potential people away with the requirement for hardcore :D

My people are serious, all about playing as a team, but we don't like using the word hardcore. We rather see ourselves as a gaming community all about teamwork. That said, for that reason it might be that WASP isnt what you are looking for, cos we draw a line to how serious we take a game.

That said, we arnt even recruiting with PS2 in mind until we actually get into the game :D EDIT: After rereading your original post, I dont think WASP is what you are looking for. Good luck with your search though. Have you considered running q group of your own?

Amulas Harlequin. Spent most of my time skirmishing on Niflheim with Lords of Death and Yew Militia.

Loved DF too. Favourite game to date.

Don't recognise that name I'm afraid, I guess you played mostly during the early days? The only person I remember from Yew was Altogether Andrews. I started playing around March '09 I think, but only after a couple of months I joined my first clan. Spent most of my time with The Black Company.

DF2 will come a little too late as AV has practically shown nothing compared to what SOE has shown of PS2.

'Lo mate, BRTD are recruiting, we are current PS1 TR's highest number of active players outfit and are headng to PS2 in force. We run a full platoon almost every night and use the voice programm 'Mumble'.

This outfit is an old Werner outfit back from 03 a week after PS launch i beleive. I'm UK myself and our numbers atm are 60/40 EU/US. Things are usually relaxed gameplay, nothingly amazing organised until 8:00pm+ nearly everynight. We are looking to go in the cross-continent server but if it can't happen, talks have been about the outfit splitting across the US and EU servers.

Yeah, i only played in the first 6 months or so.

After the server split, the lack of population killed it for me. Most retarded idea ever, splitting an already small community in half. Leaving two underpopulated servers.

I still have a 10/1 - K/D ratio though haha, and thats ganks not kills :) Thats what i love about games like that. I ran with some very good people, 5 or 6 of us. We made sure we won the fights we were involved in.

We all ended up very rich, and very well geared. Most of us were in half-plate all the time, and at that time, that was very bloody rare.
