Hello Planetside fanatics!
I first played Planetside back when I was an extremely poor college student and they had the temporarily free to play period with a limited battle rank. Even with limited abilities I loved the game and have wished ever since that they would make a proper sequel that made use of the advances in gaming technology. Lo and behold, my dreams have been answered!
I've followed the development of Planetside 2 ever since it was announced, but after all the amazing news from GDC 2012 I decided I needed to get involved with a proper community of obsessed people like myself, so here I am. I am very impressed by this site's organization of all relevant news and by the amount of developer interaction in the forums. I hope to make a worthy contribution to the generation of ideas and discussion of gameplay features.
I plan on fighting for the Vanu Sovereignty, but I have no idea what battlefield roles I will play yet. I have my priority beta access code entered and ready to go though, so hopefully I will be able to figure it out in the not too distant future.
