Yeah I agree that the topics for discussion were excellent, I still find myself talking about the driver-gunner situation with my friends on Team Speak. Was nice to hear some more insight on that topic. I think it would be best, like someone said, if there was a solo driver tree (driver-manned main gun) and a dedicated driver/gunner tree (PS1 style). It would give the driver more power to have the choice of how their tank should work in that respect.

All in all a great show from you guys, keep up the good work!

This is ok, but I'd like to see more people involved.

I'll see if I can use any of my various resources to help you guys get your channel out there.

I've actually been talking with several communities, and we are considering putting together a (State of the Game) type vcast, where every week, popular figureheads from the game get together and talk about patches, upcoming features, and various outfit spotlights.

If anyone is interested, let me know.

If you guys at AGN wouldn't mind, I'd love to come to one of these things and live stream it. just PM me.

These are always enjoyable to be a part of. The topics seemed to have a lot more meat on them then previous ones. Looking forward to the next.

AGN is streamed live through Twitch by Hamma. In the past there have been more people on the show but conversations get cluttered. Taking input from IRC and Twitch chat helps broaden the conversations though and often times we have Devs live in IRC who at times can clear up misunderstandings.

If you think you can offer something PM Hamma, he's the owner and operator.

Thanks!! :D

I hope to get multiple web cams input for the next show so we can get some more video guests and less Teamspeak footage.

Be on the lookout for some test runs over the next month or so.

Send pm when you plan your test, want to see what happens if 6 or more are in that thing.
Seems easy enough to handle for you, but the traffic needs a serious look at it.

Aye for sure I will advertise when I do it so people can watch as well. I've got to play around with my bitrate to find the sweet spot and prevent lagging for viewers.

I like your views on the win situations, I think that they could work really well as it still gives players the feeling of still winning although it's still a persistant fight. Like you said they could implement a monthly/weekly overall winner and base it on something like which ever empire holds more resorces or owns more land for x ammount of time etc...

Good stuff :)

damn, i totally missed out on that agn, the date slipped my mind.
it was awesome again! the discussions were great and there were just the right people involved to get to some founded conclusions.
also the tecnical side of the show was great this time! the volumes were balanced very well and no loss of sound issues. reallly great work and the most professional looking community show i´ve seen so far.

i like knowing who speaks, but as it was already mentioned in the show, it can get kind of boring to look onla at the ts window for too long. is it possible to use teamspeak overlay or something like this? you know, it just shows an overlay of the user who is actually talking. so you could show screenshots, videos or the agn team, but at the same time it will always be visible who is talking. i´m sure most of you used ts overlay with planetside and know what i´m talking about.

thanks for all the work you are putting into the community! feels great to be a part of this, waiting for the game that will be the favorite game for so many great people.

last but not least, send purrfect storm some cookies to bribe her for taking part next time ;)

Yeah - I think some 'winner of last week' type of thing would be cool...

Thanks for the feedback!

I hope to incorporate more video using Google Hangouts next time. Keep an eye out for a test show in a week or so. I'm going to fire everything up and invite people on for a test run.

Very professional and great to listen into - I do very much enjoy listening to the AGN recordings each month.

Bit of feedback in responses to discussions in this AGN:

1) New Website design - I quite like it and is definitely more 21st century, however, things I dislike are:

- Size of scrolling images at top (as others mentioned)
- News threads - not enough of them on the main page (imho) without clicking 'more'
- Forum links - I used to like on the old 'xx comments' link that take you to direct forum post linked at the bottom of each the news article. I dislike now having to click "Read More" and then only seeing a preview of the latest posts and having to click the comments link again to get to the forum post; the old system was better imho.

2) Drivers and Gunners - I think I saw rumours of the Devs looking into something like this already but my view would be to keep the Drivers as Gunners system they are looking to put in but also have an array of "Heavy Primary guns" that would require a dedicated gunner to operate and not available for use by the driver. Therefore soloer's would enjoy themselves with a decent tank and larger numbers of tanks in this configuration whilst organised team players using the dedicated old-school driver / gunner combos would enjoy much better damage potential.

3) Win conditions / resets - fully agree with you guys but also sparked an idea I wanted to share called the "Space Race" which I've posted a thread on in the ideas sub-forum here: http://www.planetside-universe.com/s...ad.php?t=40539
