I have never played PS1 but I am well aware of it. When it first came out I was only 12 years old and I remember begging my parents to pay for the subscription fee. They unfortunately said no and I eventually forgot about the game.
I had a friend who played the game and he has told me of the amazing moments he has had playing and now that PS2 is coming out I cannot wait to experience the same thing he did.
I would like to play Vanu, I think they would fit my play-style and I can't say no to purple. I am very familiar with FPS games as well as aerial vehicle manoeuvring from years of playing Battlefield games. I am also used to player coordination due to playing in a wow raiding guild for 2 years.
I would like to join an outfit for beta and hopefully learn more about the game from the PS1 veterans.

No, It doesn't have anything to do with when the forums are active it's the fact currently to my knowledge there are only 2 EU outfits that are currently recruiting thats Mine IP and WASP. And we're going NC (not set in stone thats what we are going for beta). Its still very early days Danelo not to worry im sure other outfits will be on here shortly (again pitty there isn't official forums for recruitment not everyone who signs up for beta will look at at a external community site for a outfit its expected to have its own forums which is a short comming)
If your not so set on purple/vanu or change your mind at some point your welcome to sign up with IP.

Sorta as Identity said I guess, there are very few EU outfits recruiting at this time. WASP isnt exactly recruiting just yet either, mostly cos the faction isnt set in stone.
I'm a huge NC fan myself and we got many others in the clan, but also those pesky alienlovers are raising their heads in our ranks. When we get pics of the remaining MAX units, we will put up a poll where all clan members can vote to decide which faction we go. That's why we don't really active recruit/promote/anything yet, cos we don't even know for sure which faction to promote ourselves as! :D
I'm not sure what are the old Planetside EU outfits doing. I'd figure many of them will continue on NA servers cos after server merges they got NA members etc, and not wanting to ditch them they might as well keep playing on NA servers? I'm sure some big names are returning to EU servers too, but I guess they are keeping low profile for the time being.

Danelo, if you're looking to be around PS1 vets, I have to boast Xen of Onslaught. We are actually active in PS1 now, so if you're looking to get some game time before PS2 beta, consider jumping in and squading up with us.
