hiho.
i missed this forum section, when i joined the community ;) so i never introduced myself.
here you go:
i´m a 35 years old scyfy fan from germany. my first video game really was pong, followed by the atari 2600, a commodore 116, commodore 64 and then a long row of pcs.
my all time favoritegames are: planetside 1, starcontrol 2, the monkey island trilogy, dungeon keeper 2, halflife, unreal tournament, team fortress classic, dune 2,maniac mansion,spy versus spy, pirates!
i played planetside 1 for several years for a total of maybe 6 years of subscription. and when i was subscribed, i played a lot, sometimes 10-30 hour sessions on weekends.
since my pc was low end when planetside released, i decided to stick with a fulltime supporter role all the time, so i could enjoy the game even with bad framerates and massive lag. my favorite role was the battle engineer. especially after the revamp. i certed all be stuff, all hacker stuff, ams,cloaker,aa-max and some medic.no weapons at all.
when i got a better computer and good framerates, i still stayed in my supportrole because it was too much fun. stealthly setting up tactical backup secondary ams deployments and defending them with ce was my speciality.
my other hobbys include medieval reenactment and starwars, especially screen accurate costumes of imperial (or related "evil") costumes. check the picture gallery on my profile to see what i mean ;)
