Good evening,
My apologies if this has been raised, but I was wondering if Planetside 2 would be featuring multiple 'seats' in their gunships? For example, the Mosquito, would there be an option of taking the gunship as a one seat option once generating or as a two-seat option with gunner position? I think this would add excellently to the dynamic that is shaping to be Planetside 2.
The ability to not only customise vehicles but to customise 'team' outfits would be an extraordinary characteristic of flexibility. While I understand that of course the Planetside 2 developers are devoting much time to this excellent game, I was wondering if this concept had been given thought?

Unlikely, Mosquito is and has always been a single person aircraft.
Now, other aircraft like the liberator, yes.

The Mosquito, Scythe and Reaver fighters are single seat only. The Liberator gunship however features three seats, a driver with some weapons, a downward facing 'bomber' position and a tail gunner. And finally theres the Galaxy dropship which, with the right certs, can be refitted into a Galaxy gunship. Thats a driver, two gunners on the wings and a fourth guy manning the tail gun.
Sufficed to say if you're looking to dominate from the skies with heavy armor and heavier weapons PS2 can definitely provide.

The Liberator might not be the bomber it was in the original.

I would imagine with the right certs and customisation the Liberator could be outfiited to work as a bomber.

It seems to have cannon fired bombs now, instead of bomb bay style.

Ah right, I didn't play the original so I wouldn't have noticed any difference. But still, we don't know what they will be putting in there yet

Also hoping for a bomb bay of some kind. Reason being that you can't stack cannon shots to all hit one spot in the space of a few seconds. Also cannons are significantly worse when you're trying to clear walls as they give far more warning between hits than a properly flown bomber.
