Anyone else playing this at the moment?

I'm currently trying to get enough XP to get a KV-IS its 122mm gun, and its so painful.

I don't have the upgraded engine yet, so its slow. Its got awful armour and the gun i'm currently using can't pen. anything of its teir, let alone anything higher unless you're sitting behind something shooting it in the back from point blank range.

I'm using a T-50, a Grilie and leveling up my German TDs as well when my 'heavy' tank makes me want to cut myself.

Rant, rave.

Quite like the game though, first game i've played in a while that actually uses some tactics.

I play. I have a pair of T8 heavies (KV-4 and T34) and a T8 TD (T28)

The game is okay. It gives me something to do, and I've put something like 150 hours into it, but strangely I wouldn't say I'm not devoted to it. It's 'alright'. I'm really holding out for Battleships, tho.

But Warplanes will be out first and... eh. We'll see.

I'm going down the IS line too.

I really like the look of the French and German heavies, and as soon as the British tanks come out i'm going to be all over them.

Just using the heavy tanks in their stock fits is so, SO painful.

The IS lines especially, as their engines are shit, as are their guns, and their armour is crap :P.

Yea, been playing lately to pass the time until beta drops for this. I am working my way to the easy 8 right now, I am at the tier right before it. Heard this tank is awesome to play with, fast reload and fast speed makes it easy to out maneuver the enemy.

Played for a little bit, but they have the system where you pay to win and I got sick of gettin one shotted by the cash tanks as well as not being able to do shit with my own heavy except against lower tier lights

Idk with the last update(haven't played since march), excluding the Type 59 (where you have to know where to fire and in close combat is quite deadly, plus their zerg) the rest of the premiun tanks are not soo good i mean there isn't anything more sweet than to take down a Lowe with your pz4. And if you see the tanks stats they are normaly underpowered in confront of their same tier class.

I love my luchs, 1k of battles in it :) and french light/medium tree is amazing even after the nerf i still have a 1455 eff. in my lorraine :)

I can't stand artillery and how it ruins the offensive aspect of the game, forcing everyone to either camp or hide behind cover for 90% of the game.

Being in my T34 (American) and getting one shotted by a GwTiger from half way across the map because I poked my nose out to take a shot is not fun, its simple as that.

My favorite tank is definitely the BDR G1B, that tier 7 gun on a tier 5 tank never gets old.

The Russian tanks are a joke, tanks from the 60's and 70's in the game because the Russian developers want their nation to be the best.

yea my avg XP per game is 950 but it takes time to raise the average across all tanks and i CBFed playing.

It forces a change in tactics, on an arty heavy map you need to use your cover and scouts well. but in pugs, yea it typically does mean camping and waiting for the enemy take make a mistake, especially on the more open maps.

Just started playing this week. Only beginning to get a grasp on some of the basics. Seems pretty good so far, so I'll definitely be interested in seeing what they do with warplanes.

Ever since version 7.4 launched, the game has become unplayable for me, and a multitude of other customers. It CTDs after every single battle, making you have to re-start the game client and log back in every time.

On top of that, my 'premium account' time is ticking away, and according to a Wargaming rep commenting on the ticket I filed, they will neither be refunding that money, or compensating me in premium account time or in-game currency. Basically, I paid for premium account time, and despite the game being unplayable because of something they broke a week ago, I can go fuck myself.

I would advise you not to give this company your money.

Im really not liking the change to the caps lock 0 server reticule to be a toggle in options, i really liked having both. the smooth clientside marker and then the more clunky slower one following it.

like now i have to choose between smooth, but i have to predict my shots. and the clunky slow ass server indicator.
