Yes, yes, gents, yet another fan trailer. Texts and stuff would've looked better if I had 3dmax and more importantly - if I knew how to use it properly. Oh, well or at least if I was an artist.



for all you sad people out there that are affected by the "this video contains bla bla bla cannot view in your country" shit, there is a very easy solution. at least for firefox or chrome users. just download the browserplugin "stealthy" or "proxtube".

it adds an icon to your browserbar that you can click before you load the youtube video, to unlock it. this slows down your connection, but it´s just to load the video. click the item again and you are back to normal. doesn´t get easier than this ;)

Nice video, but just as a heads up. its seen as a bit of a taboo to use the dev's own intros for fan made videos, since it can be confused for an official trailer. I've had to remove those sections in past fan videos I've made, but I think sony wouldn't mind letting everyone think they made this : P

I really liked it and the choice of music was perfect.

The one issue I found with it was that the text of the quotes in the beginning was too small and a tad blurry. The Segoe UI font may be better there. Also at that point the black seems to be dark grey, which adds to the blurriness of the text I am referring to.

Blame SOE, their black is RGB 20-20-20, otherwise the contrast between their black and black is way too visible... :)

The only thing I didn't really like is the "For Land; For Power; Forever" thing, because it comes after "3 continents; 3 empires" seems weird. Maybe put "Wage War" above them, idk.

Honestly, we need to avoid looking obnoxious. We need to be a welcoming community that people would look at and say "I'd like to play with them."

Hell, there are some games I enjoyed the gameplay but the community was so horrible that I refused to play it. That being said, if there are off-topic areas a post about Planetside 2 for discussion saying "Hey, check this out!" would be nice. :)

That's the best trailer for PS2 I've seen, the only (constructive) criticism I could make is that the statements at the beginning are too short, (though I realize you were trying to sync music with video for theatrical effect).

My only artistic complaint is the font chosen. I think it would be better with a more plain font, or one that looks more like the logo (http://www.abstractfonts.com/font/4373?text=PLANETSIDE). Other than that I think it's probably the best trailer available at the moment.
