country locked

Hello PSU, i kinda have a problem with my account. Back then when i made my account, i didnt care about choosing my country, but knowing that SOE will probably lock servers, im afraid ill be stucked in europe server, cause it says im from spain. Is there any way to change the country im from?

I'm pretty sure there's been a large talk about how EU will be able to play on US servers so I don't think a lock is likely. As for changing it check your account settings, if there's no way in there then check in with SOE account support I'd imagine.

personally i'd avoid playing as an eu on us servers as pings will be killer (probably in the high 300's)

Nope. Sits around 210 after Gemini was moved. From the far side of Europe. Spain should then have a pretty good ping

Pretty sure he's Australian. Thus why he wants to change his region. Though personally I think this is a bit of a goose chase as IP would probably be a bigger indicator of where you're logging in from. Not like you're going through a proxy in EU.

No, im pretty central european, and yea while 200 is playable, the 50-100 you'll get from a european server would be better ;p

The only country lock that will be going on is China. You'll be able to play on any server in the world from any part of the world except for China.
