Ok, so they said there is actual bullet drop for projectile weapons. I love meself some semi-realistic sniping action. It's always been more satisfying to land a successful hit in ARMA if I had to compensate and managed to hit the mark the first time.

However, is there bullet travel time too? Will I be required to lead moving targets with the crosshair at a distance, or is it instant, and only have to take the drop into consideration? If they can keep it client-side and conpensate for the lag, it might be a nice extra for snipers to look out for, but personally won't miss it if it would need too much work to get just right.

According to the footage we've seen so far there is bullet traveling... as it was in PS1.

So, a pretty solid yes.

I also noticed, obviously, that there were tracer rounds flying around, but in my experience, it's a somewhat common industry trick to simply show the graphics of the rounds, but the actual damage registers instantly, the shown bullet is just eye-candy, but since it happens so fast at low ranges, that the delay is pretty much nonexistent.

Yep for sure, Higby showed me it in action when we looked at the game a few weeks. He turned on a debugging mode where we could see the bullet travel time and the drop - pretty badass :D
