The purpose of Vanu Coalition site is simple.
It's an attempt to blend Strategical Gameplay with a sense of RP.

The idea is that Outfits can create and customize their outfits on the site, gather their members, talk to other outfits directly or indirectly while still having a secure section on the forum for Vanu Command Table Related topics.

This way Outfits without their own site can have access to their own Photo Gallery, Video Gallery and their own private discussions right there on the spot no fuzz

The idea is that we'll share stories, art and attack plans.
Communication is Key!

VANU Coalition is a call to arms, a warning and a message saying that, War, War is coming.... And how do we know that? Because we're the one's starting it, because to achieve peace you sometimes have to make great sacrifices.

My really small, squad-sized future outfit will probably be Vanu (we're going to run a poll after we've tested faction gameplay), and just yesterday we were saying we might need to integrate into some sort of bigger alliance or outfit.

You should check out http://www.vanu-sovereignty.com/. Its basically what your site is attempting to do, but a lot of the older and bigger outfits have already given their support through their site. They are also doing a large scale event in PS1 on july 1st.

They are the reason i decided to go in this direction, i like to have control over my website.

The difference is that i have full control over everything where i know the limitations of enjin portal and the biggest difference is that im not attempting, im already doing.

And sometimes one can take a concept and improve on it; development.

So why not give those ideas and help build the community? Our goal as planetside players is to have a community that works with each other and helps better our surroundings, not split it apart because we want to be in control of things.

A paid for enjin site (which is what he has) has all the options of a normal website. I know this, because I've run many, including full licence Vbulletin 4.1 sites. The only difference is Payment and Cpanel at that point.

I'm sure if you took some ideas to Jamezz, he would be more than happy to sit and talk with you about the future plans of vanu-alliance, and see what he could do.

It's not about giving ideas, its about the fact that those ideas can't be done in Enjin, been doing this for to long to not see it.

Here i can complete freedom regarding php scripts, modules and custom extensions.. I can do anything, which i cant in enjin.

Oh and sometimes less is more looking at how enjin spits everything out on the frontpage.

But seriously, it's not like someone can't make a competing site for the VS to also congregate at. I'm focusing on more of an alliance aspect with associated outfits and my site is just a great place to keep everyone on the same page and communicating with each other.


I have already put many months work into bringing all these things together, and the website was a minute portion of the designs. I do find it unfortunate that we could not pool our efforts into one community. However, this is a free internets and you can always do as you wish. :)

I encourage everybody to take a peek at both websites and just pick what looks good to you. No need to take sides here!

Not only that, outfits want exposure as well so there's no restriction for people that they can't be on both.

I think both sites are a great idea TBH. I love nothing more than seeing VS come together to (again) destroy the NC and TR.

Just making some suggestions for consolidation. My .2 if you will.

I guess the verification process involves ingame messaging, to ensure the private sections of the site are only read by Vanu players.

Our section is done by referral system. This ensures that only the top known dogs get the access, and not some fly by night, day 1 outfit.

The verification process i had in mind is quite complex and involves:
Ingame Verification
Outfit Website (If one exist) Conversation: Me or someone else from staff will come on your site to talk to you.
Voice: Either Teamspeak, Skype
Referral: But this can only be achieved once you have a few outfits in there

And there will be some other criterias as well but these are the mains
