i was wondering if the beta was going to be USA only or are the devs going to make EU servers too (for the beta ) ? and if the beta only uses US servers are Europeans going to be able to use them ?

When Blizzard did their open beta of Diablo 3 it was almost impossible to get in as they only had live servers in the US. I doubt SOE will make this mistake if they're expecting to stress test theirs for 6000 players per server.

Only info about this came over a year ago they said US only. There was much crying but nothing from devs after that. Haven't heard anything about it recently.

not sure about the servers but Euro peeps must be able to take part or the wouldnt have given beta keys out in the UK PC Gamer mags.

I expect beta servers to be US only for the most part (with EU beta testers playing there with shoddy ping, w00p!).

They will likely have EU servers up closer to release to make sure it actually works, especially with another party (Pro7Sat1) involved.

It would be a huge turn-off if the devs won't give all of us the same things and the same treatment, no matter where we're from. And since so far they have been great, I doubt that they will only make a NA server.

some time ago someone said there would only be a beta server in the usa.(radarx i think)

i don´t know if this has changed lately, but i guess early beta will only have one server. after all it´s not a fun beta for advertising, but for developement and testing the gamemechanics. i am sure later on, they will add servers when we get closer to launch.

Every quality game in CBT that I tested had servers for all regions, from the start of the CBT and not later on. I really do hope that the devs are going to maintain their good reputation and very good relationship with the fans and get servers for NA and EU because otherwise I won't be spending money on a game that discriminates us. I've seen enough games go that way to know that it won't end pretty for a side, and generally it's the one that doesn't get treated fairly.

Well I assume they're going to do a 1 USD = 1 EUR price coupling, so in that sence, we're worth more as customers :)

well i guess i have to apologise if english is my third language which causes me to make a couple of stupid mistakes :( . thank you Rago and archaonn . I really hope some of you learn how to respect fellow gamers ; this type of things ends up destroying communities

A) i wrote the question wrong
B) the dev read the question wrong
C) the dev does not actually know and answers another question to fool us into an incorrect answer

I got the Same Problems from Time to Time.
The best thing in this Situation is, to clear things up, make everything clean and
talk over it.Never give up learning English it,s kind of Trial and Error ;)

I was really worried for my European and military friends in Europe, but you man.. You succeeded in calming me down. You're always outspoken and add a little extra when you don't have to. I and many others really appreciate it and I hope the best for Pro7 and PS2.

Pro7 is just for small things like transactions for purchasing camo's etc. SoE are providing and maintaining the servers.

Can't SoE just activate European servers, smack them to either NL or SWE and publish it to EU themselves? I'm seriously worried about these rumors of someone else doing it.
