Planetside 2 Website Update

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned yet, so I'll go ahead and start a post.

I see a few threads being created asking about the pros/cons of each empire, so I was just curious as to when the website will be updated with a list of each empires guns/stats/vehicles/armor/equipment/etc.

Being able to see this information, even before beta starts, will help a lot of new players and even some, on the fence old players, be able to figure out how they want to play this game and on which team.

Yea, but remember during beta they will be doing balance passes and the values will change.

They may release info prior to beta (I don't know) but you can't depend on it staying the same.

Yeah that's true, I'd still like to get a list of everything so that I can see more or less what the devs were aiming for when they created a certain weapon/vehicle/armor/etc and just be able to think of different scenarios where certain things would be more effective then others...idk, I'd just like to have an idea of what there is before being thrown into beta I guess

I think when the games goes live they'll have all that sort of info here: http://www.planetside-stats.com/ right now there's -some- info, just enough to kind of tell you what each faction's strengths/ weaknesses are ( faster fireing but less dmg, ect. )

Nice, glad to see people are putting together a collection already. Hope to see it become a little more official like on the old Planetside website soon :D

I would assume they would do that closer to release. Would be weird if they didn't.

I remember seeing that chart haha...I've always known each empires strengths/weaknesses when it came to that...I just want to see a list of everything with a picture next to it and see all the empire specific weapons/vehicles/armor/etc. Stats can be added after they've been tweaked in beta.
