Navy has been mentioned for future patches, or at least sea battles have...

It doens't yet to reduce launch bugginess. Have to hook the players before truly wowing them.

Cleggs working on water.
Higby stated that just like with the weather effects they want it to be great and not just like every other games weather/water.
Give these guys the time to get it right and I'm confident they won't dissappoint us.

Unless they plan on making bases with docking areas and such, there are really no contested areas for a navy. A good continent to add in the future could have a large central lake with bases bordering (or maybe floating/anchored near??) the beach(es).

Who says?
My naval idea could be fully viable on Arrakis (as opposed to Auraxis) for example.

We have warpgates between continents. What possible need would there be for a navy?

What if Searhus were a volcanically active island chain? Also, "navy" could be airborne cruisers, like say in the starside theater.

I would love to see a navy (water based, or space based) as a part of PS2 eventually.
In order for it to be really cool though it would have to be a bit different from the regular vehicle combat. Instead of 2-3 people controlling a ship, it should be 10+ with more able to just stand on or in the ship (boarding actions perhaps :O ).
Well, one can dream right ? :)
