I need a sig!

Alright guys (and eMa)... everyone has a cool (or at least decent) sig except for yours truly. Now, I could make my own... theoretically... but then again... theoretically... I know nothing of the sort. I could make a kewl stick figure in Paint, but I think by everyone's standards, that'd be pretty "ghey." So... I guess this is more of a plea than anything else. If you know of a sig I could use, or if you can magically transfer some software and/or knowledge of how to do that stuff, I'd be exceedingly grateful. Not to be confused with forever grateful, mind you, just exceedingly. :p

Really?! Thanks eMa... I was more just wondering what I should do (create something in that old Paint program? :P). But if you're busy, don't hesitate to tell me off. I sometimes need that to get the picture. ;)

I can see it now... My sig is black and white and looks like a 4 year old made it in Paint. I guess that's kind of kewl in its own way... Maybe.

All I can say is: Whoa.... I've extremely tempted to use that as a backround... Only problem is: I don't know how. Go ahead, make fun of me. I know ZERO about this stuff. I don't know if I need some kind of software (lke photoshop), and I just don't know anything in general. It definitely sux0rs how much I don't know about computers... The sad thing is, I'm the most savy of my family. :(

all you gotta do is rightclick on the image (not the link..but the actual picture...then click "Set as background" and if you aren't running in 1280x1024 resolution, it will probably clip it a little..if you want the whole image showing, rightclick your desktop, hit properties, then go to the desktop tab, and down near the bottom right, you will see a drop down box with options such as tile, stretch, and center. If you want it to fit the whole picture on your screen, set it to stretch

Beautiful... Looks a little big, but it's probably just me used to one line of text being my sig. Jeez... You are das man Kai! I can't believe you went through all of that trouble just for a n00b question. You have my utmost respect and undying gratitude! Also... What can I use to convert bitmaps into GIFs or JPEGs? Stupid paint won't let me... Any shareware programs that can?

hehe, yeah I usually make big sigs, I can change its size to be a bit smaller if you'd like, it'd only take a sec

also you might want to get a more reliable host for the sig, I use webspawner, but they have a tendency to be...unreliable

ALSO also if you'd like..I think I could hook you up with something that can convert bitmaps...jump on our IRC some time and I'll see what I can do ;)

And if you could, I would so much appreciate it if you could make it just a little less height wise. The width of it doesn't bothe me in the least bit. I don't know anything about image editing, but would it be easier to cut out some of the liquid near teh bottom and paste Zarparchior at the new bottom? If that makes sense...

Anyway, I trust you won't work yourself too hard on a sig for a n00b. ;)
And I will definitely try hanging out in IRC more often. I have a static desk now at work, so I'll try to get mIRC on it. So I'll take you up on that, Kai. :D
