The AGN is now looking to gear up for operations. If the concept of AGN is going to work, we're going to need lots of help. Participation exists in serveral forms.
Direct partipation in the AGN can be one of the following ways:
* Embedded "Live" Reporter
Reporter is In-Game and uses Teamspeak2 (or any Voice over IP program) to provide "play-by-play" report of the action as it happens in front of them. AGN shoutcast is connect directly to the program to provide a "Live" feed.
* Embedded "Recorded" Reporter
Reporter is In-Game and uses Teamspeak2 (or any program capable or recording) to provide "play-by-play" report of the actionn as it happens in front of them. Once the recording is finished, reporters have the option of editing to provide the desired content. Once finished, the recording is then sent to the AGN and then played on the air at some later time.
* War News "Writeups"
Reporter does a news story or writeup of a battle or event from the game. The report is then sent to the AGN for publishing.
* War Photographer (Screenshots)
Having the pictures to go along with a great story is a must. Also having various perspectives from different players in the battle allows better coverage of the event. This allows many players to be able to contribute to a story as well as the reporter.
The AGN would like to encourage outfits to contribute/participate as well. Such contribution or participation could include:
* Outfit "Shoutcast" Stations
Some outfits already have members who are skilled in shoutcasting and may have already started "Outfit Radio Stations". AGN would like to be a focal point for users to find and listen to such stations. AGN may even opt to pick up the feed for some stations on a scheduled basis.
* Outfit Advertisement/Comercials
Promote your outfit. Write a recruitment advertisement. Produce an Outfit comercial. AGN can be an asset in aquiring new members.
* Outfit Battle Reports/Status
How about the tale of your last great conquest? or defeat? :) Even just a "about us" writeup of for "Outfit of the Week". AGN is your way to reach the community.
Finally, the AGN would like to ask for community contribution in the form of feedback by telling us what you would like to see on the AGN - what you like, and what you don't.
Following the appointment of positions, AGN will form a schedule of events and programming hopefully on a weekly basis. We'll probably start slow, but hope to have at least one major event per week from the start.
