I never really thought of this at all. What makes me laugh is that I come from a very liberal area where everyone has dogs and most people won't drive SUV's because of their carbon footprint. This is a study done by multiple research institutes. They state that a medium sized dog has a larger carbon footprint than an SUV does. I myself don't drive an SUV but only because I just can't afford the gas bills. I would prefer to be driving a Nissan Pathfinder (Or Nissan Titan) because it is great off-road. They also state owning two hamsters is like owning a plasma tv. It's a neat article because I've never really heard people talk about the carbon footprint of domesticated animals. It's actually pretty inciteful. Thoughts? NOTE: I put this in the political forum because it pertains to "Global Warming"

Throw a PETA person into the mix and I bet those guys will get sinned. Animals are people!
I own a Bronco, and I don't want to sound like an ass but long after I'm dead and my childrens children have kids, we'll be long gone from gas, and chances are my Bronco will flip on and totall itself 4wheeling long before it destroys the world. But that's quit interesting.
