Re: IGN Live Stream Discussion Lava continent confirmed (at some point), Higby said beta will go as long as it needs to, hoping to get the game out by 2012. |

Re: IGN Live Stream Discussion People kept saying Higby was on crack because of his enthusiasm for the game. Take it as a compliment I suppose. |

Re: IGN Live Stream Discussion Ugh, tell me about it. Other than that good interview. Short but sweet. Hopefully it will get some more people to check into the game. Cheers, GG |

Re: IGN Live Stream Discussion I like how IGN claims it was live even though it was recorded 1 hour ago. There wasn't really any new information either, I guess it was just a taster for the IGN crowd. |

Re: IGN Live Stream Discussion Rock, Paper, Shotgun for everything PC. It's a small outfit, so they don't manage tons of in-person coverage at conventions, but they cover everything PC and do a good job of collating news from multiple sources. |

Re: IGN Live Stream Discussion Dont really get why they are always talking about unprecedented gameplay when we all know where its coming from... Could be a marketing thing though as to not having to explain why the first one didnt succeed in the long run. I really like the engine and the pacing of the game, but tbh theres a ton of things that made PS the pretty much best game I played so far which are once again simplified or even cut out completely to appeal to the BF, CoD and what not fps players. But I guess it's the way to go with any kind of frenchise nowadays. Go where the money is. And sadly the majority of gamers isn't expecting a lot of content besides the oh so mindnumbing shooting down things. I guess it'll be another 2 to 3 years of content extracted of Planetside until the veterans get a game they can truly call a worthy Planetside successor. Which is in fact the same game in a new engine. But I can live with that I guess. Got me going for quite some years. I'm still eagerly awaiting the game, ever since I quit Planetside a couple of years ago. But honestly theres much much more one would've expect to see content wise. And stop ignoring the games roots with all the unprecedented" gameplay talk just to ignore the painful question why the gameplay still isnt as immersive as his big brother. As of now it seems like nothing but a massive Domination map tbh...
