[ Weapons | Armor | MAX Armor | Vehicles | Equipment ]
When you first arrive on Auraxis, you have 7 Certfication Points
available. In the 3.10 patch, new arrivals now have those 7 points
automatically spent on Reinforced Armor, Medium Assault, and Armored Assault 1.
In addition, 2 Equipment Terminal favorites have been automatically created.
One for Agile Armor (called Light Infantry) and one for Reinforced
Armor (called Heavy Infantry). Here are the contents of those
loadouts:

Completing the Training Courses will advance your Battle Rank to BR4 giving
you an addition 2 certification points to spend. As you advance in Battle Rank
(BR), you aquire additional Certification Points. These points allow you to gain
access to various types of equipment, skills, armor, weapons and vehicles.
Certification terminals are located in the HART buildings at Sanctuary and Bio
Laboratory bases on each continent.
You can learn any certification you wish, however, there is a limit to how
many certs you can learn at any given time, and it is well below the maximum
available in game. With the BR limit increase from 20 to 23 in version 3.2.12,
you now have a possible 27 Certification Points available. So you will have to
pick some things and stick with them.
You can also unlearn certs in case you decide you don't want to specialize in
something you've learned. With the addition of the Certification Tree in version
3.1.2, you can unlearn a pre-requisite certification, this will free all
dependent certifications at the same time. However, normally there is a 6 hour
wait period between each Certification/Certification Tree you wish to unlearn.
In the 3.10 patch, new recruits were given a 7 day grace peroid without this
restriction so they may experiment more freely as to what certification they
like the best. Points available from unlearning any certification may be
spent immediately.
This information has been updated to incude the recent Live Server Patch,
version 3.10.3, released on January 11, 2006.
NOTE: Ancient Technology items are only available to those
players with the Core Combat expansion. |
