 The Vanu Sovereignty gained their name from a long past alien race. Their artifacts were discovered on the planet of Auraxis shortly after the first expeditionary forces from the Terran Republic arrived. From this came the discovery of "rebirthing" technology, and the offer of immortality. Scientists were forced to keep research on this new technology secret. However, the Vanu managed to persuade some scientists to join their cause. As news of the wormhole collapse begin to spread throughout the Republic, leadership began to grow anxious. Fearing that their lives may be in danger, the Vanu broke away from the republic, managing to gain control of several rebirthing facilities. The Vanu Sovereignty seeks to destroy the Republic for their years of oppression and lies. Also, they seek to destroy the New Conglomerate who declared war on them, as well as the Republic for the same reason.
Through the use of the Vanu technology, energy weapons were created. Also, the ability to improve the human body through modification. These are the very things which caused the Terran Republic and the New Conglomerate to hate them.
