Atari started Gryphon's gaming addiction in the early 80's with the addition of a 2600 to his home which soon lead him to computer gaming. The Tribes series sparked Gryphon's interest in FPS multiplayer games and the community that surrounded them in late 1998. Soon after in April of 1999 he founded The Hounds of Zeus (thzclan.com), a group still in existence today. He has contributed and joined the staff of numerous community sites (snook.cc) dedicated to computer gaming.
