I believe the date to be 7th December 2011 but this could have been to do with the original graphics update.
Now, just t make sure that these numbers have in-fact been added by the artist i took the time to enhance the trailer footage of the same weapon found in this artwork:

Now using the "Uncrop" function i managed to see that there is no numbers on the gun in game meaning it was deliberately put there!
Now i know you can see a yellow blob but this is a different colour to the text in the artwork making the artwork more likely deliberate.
Damn I need more news about news about news about the beta. BTW This was a troll; but I hope we get to play something soon.
