What would be really nice, is if they introduced something completely new. Not just more variations on existing ones.
I'm talking about something more than just a new gun that shoots harder but slower or whatever.
Stuff like AV/AA EMP cannons. Low damage, no blast, very high disorientation. As an AA weapon, that could cause some pretty hilarious results.
Just an idea.
Shockwave based weapons? Low damage, high blast radius, pushes units away from the point of impact. Off cliffs or airpads maybe?
Time-fused bouncing HE mortar shells, for surprising those window-snipers?
(actually a horrible idea now that i think about it)
Not saying any of these ideas are any good, but you get what I mean.
I'd love to see something _new_!
