bullpup weapon

Hi, is there any news regarding this topic, cant find any pics at all, hope punisher or some other weapon will be introduced soon, it's sci-fi setting after all, they should add some form variation, not just conventional weapon...

its not just about bullpups, like lasher or pulsar in first planetside used stock as energy store part or something like that, gauss got no magazine if i recall correctly just some variation in form would be nice i guess

I guess it was more about it not really being that visibly modelled on the Gauss. Lorewise the Gauss was still using combution-based ammunition (that pretty much requires cartridges, that pretty much require a magazine) that was just boosted with gauss-tech.

That said, the Vanu weapons still look really alien'ish without your common magazine system. That said, I guess if they make a common pool rifle it could be a bullpup for the sake of variety.

I'd guess all of the MA rifles have similar dimensions to save on animation costs. A bullpup rifle would need it's own mocap for reloading, hopefully we will see them in future expansions.

What is so futuristic in having the rifles action right next to your face?

Sucks to be you if you are a lefty!

Unless you like to eat hot brass.

The Kel-Tec RFB (bullpup) ejects its brass out of a port at the front of the rifle. Ambidextrous ftw.

The TAR 21 can be set to eject left or right. And I would love a bullpup pulsar

The FN-2000 does the exact same thing.
