You might be in CC beta nad not know it.

*edit - This is in everyones PlanetSide folder, make sure to make a copy of your PlanetSide folder before doing this.

Check your PS folder. Click on PlanetsideBeta.exe.

This is fine and well.. except that by doing that, and if you are NOT in beta, you will have to repatch your game.

Sorry.. but EVERYONE got the planetsidebeta.exe, but only those notified by e-mail got permission to play.

The effect would be similar to clicking on planetsidetest.exe without making a copy of the folder to another place on your computer.

Not really. I have yet to see someone say "I'm in beta" or elaborate on the expansion. I know for a fact that people who did not get into beta downloaded the planetsidebeta.exe file.

Everyone downloaded that file. However I have heard of people who did not know they were in beta, yet they were able to access the beta site. So be sure to check

Aye, it seems in the outfit I am in, the people who were able to access BETA but never recieved an e-mail actually had a setting unticked in the account options that stopped SOE notifications.

Those who had it unchecked didn't receive anything, those who received the e-mails had it checked, that may be why some people never received the e-mail
