Easy CD Creator 5 Basic

Every time I boot my machine up, my computer tries to install this around ten times before I can go into task manager and end the offending processes. The same thing also happens when I put a CD-R in, but it only tries three times. Files that I find when this occurs:
ImapiRox.exe
msiexec.exe
IKernel.exe
knlwrap.exe
I've done Run -> msconfig and the only thing that's checked off is qttask which I know has nothing to do with this. Any ideas on how to fix it?

I hate Roxio...You own the program right? If you do, try fully installing it, then uninstall it.

If not, find it in MSCONFIG and disable it manually. Sounds like it runs a program at startup that tells the computer that it should be installed, but it isn't, which would explain why it happens when you stick in a cd-r. Most CD media programs detect when writable discs are inserted in the computer.

Add/Remove Programs says I have it installed already. Would it hurt my computer to uninstall it?

Misc Info

Get rid of roxio, its suck, diable it in MSconfig and unsintall it, then delete the whole folder its in.

Then go download CDmate it it freeware and has nearly eveything that Nero does

Oh yeah sandiman you need to work on your typing some
