How do you do it in WinXP?

a friend of mine cant figure out how.

When installin WinXP, delete the partition and install windows on the unpartitioned space and it automaticly formats for you.

or partition it yourself... its not THAT hard...


I did mine this way... make a 150MB partition in FAT, thats your boot partition... you won't install anything on it... it should auto matically ask you to format that in FAT. The second partition make as NTFS, windows will install there and you can install programs there.

If you're formatting a slave drive thats even easier... just go to 'My Computer' right click on the drive and select format. Set it up as NTFS.

It really depends on your computer sometimes you have to do weird things if you have more then one h-drive even if its not raided.
