Need advice on a new gun

Hi, I'm playing NC currently and enjoying them (especially the phoenix) BUT I tried out the TR and loved the starter LMG their heavy has, is there any gun for the NC which is similar? right now I'm using the saw right now which is good for ranged but up close it seems the other factions guns just slaughter me so I really need something beefier for up close.

Is there a LMG that caters to this? or should I get a SMG? or is there just nothing like this for the NC?.

EM6 is our highest ROF LMG, great for indoors and short to medium range. Test it out in VR or a 30minute trial live.

I like to run it with a silencer and extended mag and adrenaline shield.

edit: actually EM1 is highest ROF, might want to check that out too. I havent tried it personally.

While the EM1 is the fastest ROF LMG for the NC, the EM1 is not competitive with the T9 Carv. EM1 specializes in accuracy and stability, but suffers a gigantic drop in TTK and DPS when compared to the NC6 Gauss SAW and T9 Carv.

Fortunately, there is some kind of "cohesion" in the overall weapon's theme of the factions. If you want that fast-firing gun, you shoulda played TR! Unless you like carbines, then NC have the fastest firing one in the game [along with vs]

Yeah, the Bull is insanely awesome. The T9 Carv is a good weapon, but the bull is much better.

I keep trying to try the EM6 but it wont let me select it in VR or for the trial run not sure why =(.

As for TR having all the fast guns, there must be a good for NC that can compete close up though, or are TR just people you should always stay well away from when fighting?

You can make the dps calculations yourself in that spreadsheet that was linked in this topic, just compare Damage X ROF for different weapons.

If you want to play the dps game as NC heavy assault vs TR, either go SMG or shotgun, because there is just no NC LMG that can compete TR's T9 Carv/MSW-r on that statistic.

For the NC, just use the Gauss SAW. That is the ONLY gun I have ever seen TR players jealous of. Low ROF, but its a rapid fire sniper with no kick. lol

Well I bought the cyclone and love it. The SAW is great long range ye but up close everything slaughters it, hell I've even been told by people in my outfit I need a good pistol when using the SAW as if you get caught up close you WILL be slaughtered.

GD-22S or NS-15M for close to medium range combat. EM6 for medium to long. You can thank me later.

Well I've answered this question as have some others I think.

The EM1!!! the best damn gun the NC have to offer for a heavy it does short range medium range and long range!! You need no other gun with the EM1 at your side!.
