Almost everything that happens people think it's a sign of beta.

Everything that happens IS a sign of beta. Every little piece of artwork, animation, and logistics that the team completes gets us closer to beta... daily. The question is... how soon is soon?!

Honestly the game loses a lot of impact if the people at E3 just get to play against like everyone at E3 and the ~50 at sony HQ...

I'm all for keeping myself unreasonably hyped up, so I agree.

If he wanted to, he could have easily clarified that he meant you could play with them IF you attended E3.

Considering that he never actually directly said that beta was launching prior to or during E3, I think he is still in the clear for not having spilled the beans. There is room to interpret it in multiple ways, so he really didn't actually say anything...

But it sure seems a strong implication. Enough to keep me giddy.

Either way, E3 is going to be awesome. I may actually get a chance to keep an eye on it if there is no beta

I'd say they would need official forums prior to starting BETA. As with any BETA a "private" official forum will be absolutely necessary.

There won't be a BETA until after there are official forums... just something else to think about.

Well GW2 also doesn't have official forums. Only for beta weekends.
