Has anyone tried this thing? I'm in the market for a new keyboard, and I'm trying to decide between this wierd thing and a Logitech Elite Keyboard.

A lot of publications have reviewed this thing. Some have liked it a lot, others have said it's goofy and costs too much.

I looked on Ideazon's website and they have a custom keyset coming soon for Planetside. Is anyone using just the crossfire set for PS right now? How well does it work and is it worth the money?

The main problem I have with this thing is how expensive it is. $35 for the base and regular keyboard, $20 for the PS keyset (whenever it comes out), and $20 for the crossfire keyset (which I'd get for all the other games I play besides PS).

That's $75 for a friggin keyboard. Can anyone tell me if this is really worth it?

Oh also, here's the link for anyone who doesn't know what I'm talking about:

Wow. I've never seen anything like that... pretty interesting. The only problem for me would be the fact that I'm so used to using my keyboard, if I used that thing I'd be hitting the wrong keys all the time...

Also, how do u use it and still do chat text or voice macros I wonder?

edit: nvm, i watched the little flash movie, and I see that it still has standard keyboard buttons as well.

Waste of money. The time and effort it takes to figure out all the keys and such, is exactly the same amount as what it takes to do it on a regular keyboard. Your still reaching for one key or another. Not to mention you gotta switch it out for every game, and buy special keypads.
