I just made a mess...

I just finished watching the full 25 minutes and it's amazing. I watched the Doom 3 gameplay vid and trailer, and for the people that say Doom 3 looks and feels better? ARE YOU INSANE? lol

Just watching the movie I was completely in awe, not just the graphics...but the physics engine. Just the way things move, the particle effects and the way they break apart, the way everything is interactive.

Knowing Valve I don't think they showed us everything there is to it either. On Sept. 30th that's exactly what i'm buying because right now I have to play it :P And the modding will be really fun too. I read somewhere that the modding is going to be a lot easier than HL1, and seeing as where it wasn't all that hard (there's a difference between challenging and hard ) Just a little limited in some areas. When you got the right tools it was pretty easy, depending on previous knowledgability (sp?).

But I can't wait...I'm gonna go watch that again

Games (like Doom3) that are based inside only usually suck imo. They may look nice but I hate being locked inside for the whole game.

HL2 looks great and I will buy the game on release day. however Doom 3 i could really care less about.

There is no 'use' button in doom3.

Nothing is interactive, its all supposed to be like the last doom games, they really didnt do much new. Since this is such a simple game, they should have made it quicker, but it apparently took very long, maybe longer then half life 2, which has more.

do you know about the new HL2 video? they're releasing that same video from fileplanet, but direct feed @ 1024X768 resolution. It will be put out over steam, it was supposed to be out this monday, but as you can see, they're a little late, so i'll be pissed if they still don't get it out today. because they said it will look very very close to the actual game

Yeah, it's up at fileplanet, they must have got a dumbed down version cus it's only 580megs, give or take...quality might be a little crappier.

Get it either way, kazaa is a bitch though, took me all yesterday to get the whole movie, and i'm on a 1mbit adsl line (shitty connection on the other side, hehe)

then again fileplanet sucks :P but it's a guarenteed download in an hour or two

ok, yes, my hunch was true, you are bleeding out the ass.

that HL2 video off fileplanet is the old one, with a shakeycam. hopefully this .mov one off kazaa is the direct feed.

i just tried the smaller one...approx 580 megs, and it's shit, lol so it must be the same one. If you can't find it on kazaa just PM me or post it here and i'll hop on, turn file sharing on and you can grab it off me
