You could always go buy one for $20 or less. Were you spamming a channel, or running some sort of bot? That's usually the only reason they mute people.

get your friends on TeamSpeak then! The only problem then is that it becomes very difficult not say "Oh my god dude, you are SO screwed. Hope you have lots of Missile Turrets..."

Actually, missile turrets blow versus carriers. Missile turrets will target the interceptors rather than the carriers, and since it's extremely difficult to micro-manage missile turrets, they are not an effective counter. The most effetive terran counter is Ghosts with lockdown and goliaths with the range upgrade.
