BF1942 stuff

Recently I've been most proficient(heeheehee) in the use of fighters for anti-air and strafing runs, and I've also done alot better in bombing by dive bombing. Heh, I was able to take out scores of Stukas and the ME110s weren't ready for me. I got the Yak9(Super easy to desroy fighter but really strong guns) and let loose a volley hitting their engine once or twice knocking them out. Heh, it's fun to ahve air dominance in a level. I love strafing iwth Waks. They'rte so very powerful gunwise. They can take down soldeirs by the bundle in good strafe. BTW, this happened in Kursk. Anyone else have any good BF1942 stories or whatever?

You and I kicked ass the other day. Both of us were in the top ten on a match we entered halfway through.

Yeah, I think either most poeple on BF1942 are really bad or I'm better on that style of FPS than I thought. I'm gettng better with planes though. And no one likes the Yaks. I love them. Taking out 8 people with one strafe is fun. I've been playing on the Nforce2 server called "Bradley" I think...Maybe De Gualle. I forget. The only big 1.3 server I've found...Sounds and looks better enen though it now has some sound bugs like static and repeats like requestiing re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-inforements. Or even worse Requestiing ant-ant-ant-ant-ant-ant-ant-ant-ant-ant-ant-ant-ant-ant-ant-ant-ant-ant-ant-ant- until I press a voice command

Yeah BF 1942 is pretty fun to play every once in awhile, my fav mission is Arnhem. On one server i was playing Axis and the Americans pushed us back to the bridge, i hopped in a Tiger and swaggered onto the bridge. Unbeknowst to me it was swarming with victorious Americans. I start letting loose some volleys with my machine gun and fire a few rounds with my main gun, finally i have to run them over. I almost get to the end of the bridge when a new wave of Allies hits me, im totally alone because all the Axis infantry has been slaughtered mercilessly and 3 shermans are coming in for the kill. I knocked out one at long range, and took out the next one as it was driving up the hill. Im at about 3 percent health, so i hope out and start lobbing grenades while running around trying not to die. The sherman just runs me over. As im picking a respawn point i notice that the allies only have like 20 tickets left and during my bridge crossing attempt the rest of my compatriots had swarmed over the other bridge and cut the ass of the allied objectives. Needless to say it was a sweet little mission.

I hte maps that they put Tigers in yet the allies get minimal air support...It's just not right...

yeah tac air is all the allies had going for em...maybe thats why the Axis win so much in the game lol

IT was the hurricane that mounted rockets often right? I used to know but I never really tried to remember those details. I think it is so they need to put Hurricanes in to balance the game. I've been 3 on 1 with Shermans against a tiger. We were all hitting him and he took each of us out in two shots with us getting in about 15 or more shots before he wa able to begin hitting us
