Price error

I was at subway the other day and there was a small banner for a large drink cup thing for an extra .40 cents added onto your meal.
.40 cents actually means about 4/10 of a penny. If they were to do this correctly it would have to say .40 $, instead of cents. I've seen this at several places and thought it was funny.

we all know that people do stupid things, example:

"Step 1: Take off wrapper" this was found on a popcorn bag. in order to see the instructions though, you have to unwrap the bag and unfold it.

"Carpel Tunnel Syndrom. FREE SAMPLE!" Something found under the classified ads in a newspaper
