The E3 floor has plenty of "sandbox" games a la Grand Theft Auto III, but this is the only one to actually take place in a sandbox. In this demo, your character has the ability to wander a huge sandbox and do whatever you can think of, as long as it involves only sand. Pile the sand! Unpile the sand! Roll in the sand! Bury yourself in the sand! The player has never before had this much freedom of sand-based interaction. The developers tell me that they'd like to include a shovel and a bucket in the final game, but that may not be a realistic goal.
